I have a ton of CDs myself that I need to get rid of. The ones on the left are classical, and rock is on the right. Plus I have a big box of CDs in the garage. I guess this is another retirement project.

Kitties are getting bigger and haven't clawed at the S55 grills in the bedroom system, so I figured it was time to go back to floorstanders. Found a pair of absolutely pristine LSI 15s for a nice price. If they leave these alone the 705s will be getting moved back in post haste. Try to ignore the kitty barricades.

I must say, at one time or another, I've owned 7s, 9s, and now 15s. The 9s, which I had on a pair of Sanus Ulimate stands prior to swapping in the 15s, were a better speaker. Listening 2 channel, no sub, the 15s have bloated flabby bass and lean way too much toward the bottom end. Anybody got a pair of Db840s they want to sell?

Not to be cliche, but this was a fairly substantial improvement. Micro detailing, staging, bass accuracy and impact.... I'm a frugal person and the money spent was worth it for sure. I run a passive line controller so my end result is pretty much up to my source.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Received and installing the crossover upgrades for the LSi9s. This is the Fortress mod from our very own @VR3 Trey. They look amazing, its a shame they'll never be seen again after this evening . Treys customer service is great and the crossovers were very well packaged as well, I must say. Pics don't do these things justice when they are in your hands!
