    Sorry...didn’t mean to bring everyone down. I will atone with 50 tracks before the 2 channel mast.

    I replaced my Rotel transport with my Marantz. The silver face stuck out too much in the sea of black. I ended with cleaner looks and cleaner sound.

    Did you notice any changes with the aftermarket power cords?

    Right off the bat they are warmer. Seemed very dark at first listen but have livened up a bit. I was a bit worried at first but its coming around now. Not much else to write about at the moment. I’m attesting all the change to the power cords as I don’t think the Ethernet interconnect between the speakers is gonna matter much. The one that came with the KEFS seems to be a run of the mill cat6 cable.

    Is there still a digital/streaming component to this setup, or are you strictly vinyl now?

    I still stream, utilizing Roon installed on my Synology Nas and using the KEFS as an endpoint. I control roon via the Roon app on my phone. Really cool little integrated streaming setup

    Your "2 Channel - Major reduction complete" project is impressive. And some other Polkies have benefited.

    What is the model of your Synology NAS? And did you move ripped CD's etc to it?

    @BlueBirdMusic

    I am using a simple Synology DS218+ with a 4tb wd blue in it as well as an external ssd to house Roon (not necessary but it runs better on a SSD). I do have all of my cds ripped into the nas as well

    That's a fine looking little rig you got there, stangman67! Very nice and neat.

    In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

    The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to good analogue reproduction.

    Thanks! I am enamored with it. Still miss the big setup from time to time but the pros outweighed the cons on this one

    Finally got my Bridge connected on my PS Audio Perfectwave DAC, and I am listening to music over CAT5 instead of USB... HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!!
