Their marketers keep stepping on their own reveal. :)

My guess is DSP is involved rather than just acoustics with this model. Those woofers also look bigger than anything Polk before, so may be a powered tower.

I need to go check my piggy bank and sofa cushions.

Those are the bookshelve speakers up top, and the mids from the towers below...

I disagree. Why would the bottom of the bookshelf speakers be angled like that? Plus there's a lot more cabinet above the tweeter than the Hong Kong pictures on the first page of this thread.

No, Larry, that is a single tower.

It appears to be Polkaudio that posted it. Why they would they post a fake photo?

  • NightfallNightfall Posts: 9,110
    Because Polk are also trolls.

I'm not 100% on what details Polk will release on Friday, but I've got lots of juicy details, which I can reveal after the official announcement.

I like that the design of the cabinet will prevent the tops from being used for houseplants and cup-holders.

I see they corrected the SDA title from CRS to SRS. I had emailed them pointing out the error, and other more minor, and suggested they get a refund from their advertising department.
