So I was curious, are these teasers being discussed on other audio forums? I did a quick search and couldn't find any.

I posted the original post on the new Polk Audio speakers and actually had second thoughts. I could've post the photos on other audio forums, but I figured I will limit "the damage" (Polk may not want such news on the new speaker line out so soon).
I just want to hear them for the LuLz.

This from the guy that thinks his S60's are the pinnacle. Hilarious!
    Sorry, I was trolling.

FYI you just admitted to a offense that you can be banned for. If you'd like to scan the rules Polk put forth you'll find it in there.

    What are your main speakers?

    Why, Bose 601s of course!

yeah, t'is... but someone had asked if there were any chatter on the 'legends' any place else -- and I just saw that this morning. Thass all. :)

Was only saying that (not to deter from your added value) as a confirmation of no other higher end speakers in the works from Polk.
If I’m being honest, the legends look like they are cheaper (looking) than the LSiMs

ahh, I misinterpreted your post, sorry 'bout that. :/

I'd concur about the cheaper looking nature of what we've seen so far -- for me, it's the gloss finish. Not a fan. Satin finished walnut (or other real wood) works better for me, but - as always - I know I ain't the target demographic! ;)

We used honed granite for the countertops in this house; I am just not crazy about shiny granite; strikes me as a nouveau riche kind of "look". McIntosh stuff has the same effect on me -- come to think of it.

Very cool! We'll see if it generates some buzz there. So I played the video again, with sound this time, IMO very cool.

But in looking again, this time a bit closer, at the weird shaped drivers, it looks like the material is a bit unusual. Hmmm. Hard to tell. Carbon fiber perhaps? :)

Their marketers keep stepping on their own reveal. :)

My guess is DSP is involved rather than just acoustics with this model. Those woofers also look bigger than anything Polk before, so may be a powered tower.

I disagree. Why would the bottom of the bookshelf speakers be angled like that? Plus there's a lot more cabinet above the tweeter than the Hong Kong pictures on the first page of this thread.
