Actually, whenever I have seen a Compendium on ePig or Audiogon, they have been thrown in for free with an SDA sale.

Will there be more SDA Compendium 2E available? If so, I would like to purchase a copy. Is there a waiting list? Thanks.

He was probably hoping that there was a reprint scheduled...of which there are not. I went back and edited my original post for clarification.

So what you're saying is that you don't plan on doing anymore, correct? :D I sure am glad I have a couple copies, one of which is sealed in a time capsule.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

That is correct. I actually ran out sooner than projected. I did not anticipate the number of people who would order multiple copies.:)

We can all wait in eager anticipation for Matt Polk's "SDA Encyclopedia".

Lady to the Grocer: " I'd like some bananas"

Grocer, " We are out of bananas."

Lady, "Could you please go see?"

Grocer, " How do you spell bananas?"

    Lady, "B-a-n-a-n-a-s."

    Grocer, "Nope, B-a-n-a-n-a-s-f-u-_-K."

Lady, "There ain't no Fu_k in bananas."

Grocer, "That's what I've been trying to tell you."

    Hello,
Just found this site while searching for ways to keep my SDA-SRS speakers performing like new.
I am sad to see I will be unable to purchase a hardcopy of the SDA Compendium.
Perhaps the author has thought of placing it in a PDF format and allowing us to Paypal or send cash for a downloadable copy.
If anyone has an extra for less than Both arms and a leg I am interested in purchasing.
    Thanks in advance, great site.

I would also enjoy having a compendium, but I hate to heap any more pressure on the Darque One. Only he knows how much work is involved. I like the pdf idea!:)

The copyright--and the profits (the "reward" for doing the work in the first place)--rightfully belong to DarqueKnight. And I genuinely believe he's entitled to both. But surely if there's enough "reward" another publication run is warranted, even if it's just additional copies of the second edition and not an updating and expansion of it.

The part I'm not understanding is: If there's demand--and that seems to be the case--why not drop off a copy at Kinko's, have them print 5--10--25 more; and just charge what it costs plus additional for his effort, plus postage?

If it is to be a digital-media deal--ship CDs or DVD-ROM or even floppys. Heck, he could e-mail them and there'd be no postage charge. (I'm assuming that the thing was originally written in Word; and so a digital edition of the work already exists.)

I got in on this deal too late; I'd have surely bought one if I'd had my act together.

So...As you will, DarqueKnight---but if you change your mind, let me know!

I have suggested that to Raife in the past and his response was all the info in the Compendium is somewhere on the forum. Albeit, scattered over many years and posts. I think a PDF would be great but far too easy to share. I know he wasn't in the business of trying to make money, but to simply recoup the costs of printing and his time and effort.

At some point I will probably scan my paper compendium as a PDF for my OWN personal convenience and to preserve the paper version.

Count me as another new arrival that missed out on the opportunity, and would purchase a copy if they miraculously became available again.

Good luck, I've been trying for a while.

If you're good at searching, most, if not all the information from this book can be found on this message board.

    SDS 1c's???

First thing you need to learn is their proper model number. In your case that would be SDA 1C's.
