Picked these up from a guy local to me today. Didn’t have much time to listen to them yet with the wife on continuous conference calls all day. Initial impression, silky smooth and musical top end.

Should be. Those are the Creme' De-la Creme'. Nice score.

Would love to hear about a shoot out between them and 12AX7 Ei Gold Pins.

They'll be battling against Amperex 7308's.

I got a 3 speakers OFF of movers' dollies and organized some more.

I played my Triton Ones A LOT tonight. Being planted on the floor and nothing in front of them clearly helped their sound. ;) They are truly AMAZING speakers. B)

I have only been able to imagine how much better a lot of my speakers would sound in the old open space I used to have out there. This year has been the best yet for my energy and scratching things off of my LONG to-do list.

I rearranged my rack again. The April Music DAC runs HOT,just like I read. So,I moved that away from my cdp. Now it has plenty of breathing room.

Took the top off my Furman pc to have a look inside as the differential outlets are running 4 volts higher than the wall voltage. Also my electrical checker says they have a open neutral. The high current outlets read the same as the wall voltage so I'll be using them instead. I didn't spot anything wrong so I'll check with Furman to see if this is normal. One thing I did notice while it was on my bench was the pc works even when nothing is plugged into it. The emi on the workbench socket dropped from 415 to 78 just by plugging the Furman in.

I just went out there and put a second coat on that bottom wood shelf ( it replaces a broken one. I found that rack on the side of the road a block from my house last summer) and then rocked out the Tritons and the Pinnacle Classic Gold Towers beside the center stereo rack for an hour. I only listened to one pr. at a time. The Pinnacles are efficient but the Tritons are a bear for an amp reviewers have found. At the volumes I was playing at times, I didn't want to melt the NAD receiver playing all 4 speakers at once.

It's a little chilly today so I brought the shelf into the cottage to dry. BIG mistake! The fumes were WAY TOO MUCH so I put it back outside to dry! Spray can paint... :D

All smiles for a while! Maybe the fumes. Maybe the music. Maybe BOTH. :D

I missed not playing the Polk 12bs this afternoon. I unhooked them from my JVC receiver yesterday.

So far they are sounding as excellent as I remember.
Dhaval, already have an NS Incanto DAC...no need to sell me on how awesome they are...just on funding since my mad money fund is absolutely tapped out heh. PCs are Pangea AC9s and AC14SEs

Marc, the VTLs are sounding really nice with em. Hard to replace the silky smooth I have with the silky smooth I don’t have. ;)
