Lots of power storage in 16 3,300 uF capacitors I would imagine, to handle short term peak draws. Does it put out more than 1,000W short term because of that? PS Audio has downloads for vintage equipment models, but the one for the P1000 is a link that is not functioning (of course lol).
Doesn't really seem like a lot, my 300 watt amplifier has 272,000 UF.
What amplifier do you have?
I need to look inside my WOPL phase linear 700 and see what the power supply capacitance is. It is 500w per side.
I have a krell ksa 300s. -

Perhaps not, but it is additive to what is in your amplifier. In your case it won't make a lot of difference. Circuit Breaker boxes are 0 uf though.
The p1000 is only rated at 1,000 watts, a 15 amp circuit from the breaker box is actually rated higher at 1440 watts, so how is it additive? -

Furman does the same thing on their 15A IT reference. In fact, I think it has the same number of outlets.

Today I replaced the 2A3 amp for a pair of Shanling SP-80 EL34 mono blocks. I sold these to a friend years ago. Today they found their way back home.

I bought an open box Parasound JC5 from Safe and Sound in Feb 2022 and have had to send it back twice now for issues with one channel going out. I have other Parasound gear that I have had zero problems with and it's worth mentioning that Safe and Sound no longer appears to be a Parasound dealer.
Long story short, the new owner and CEO David Sheriff reached out to me directly via email and apologized for the situation and sent me a brand new JC5 to make things right. To me this is just amazing customer service. Parasound is in good hands.
Oh yeah, so the new JC5 has been added back into the system. Sounds great.

With the addition of some new cables, I have been slowly readjusting the subs back to the room and mains, enjoying the hell out of a plethora of music along the way.
At this point, the Rythmik subs are barely even on anymore but I am very close to being back to that perfect balance. I'm just glad that I don't need to do the human pretzel to adjust them anymore. That helps tremendously.

Sorry to hear that man. I went through the same at the end of 2021. I was lucky to keep my 2-ch system, but really, much of it has been replaced since then. I can only pray for you that it is not heavily contested. You'll just be feeding the lawyers if it is. -
Sorry to hear about this, Ryan. Divorces are usually system killers. If there is a silver lining though, no more WAF needed moving forward. You do what you want!
Still bites though that you have to go through this. Maybe the folks here can collectively cobble you a system together after you get your own place.

Sorry indeed. It's coming up on 6 years since mine, hard to believe. Without knowing your circumstances, I can tell you this, the phrase "time heals all things" is a crappy saying and I hate it. Has this been said to you? Time is irrelevant to each individual. For all the "helpful" people that told me, "it takes a year before you can get over it" can shove it right up the 'ol tail pipe. Now, that being said, Tom is absolutely correct, not a single oz of WAF in my place, I can crap right on my living room floor and no one says $hit. My gear, my seats and the shirt on my back was what I got out of the D. It was my faith that brought me through it. @Tasuke - That looks like a fun system that you have obviously put a lot of effort into putting together. If you haven't already been welcomed to this board, please allow me to offer you a very warm welcome to Club Polk.
I don't know what gave it away, but do I detect just a tad bit of OCD in that room or what? 😀
