My 2Bs are now 2BTLs. Before and after pics below. It’s not the prettiest solder job in the world but it’s solid and sounds pretty amazing so far. Only about 20hrs into burn in so far.

I love the attention to detail in this turntable setup. Is it justified? You only know when you know.

But, at least my OCD feels better knowing everything is dialed in the way I want it! At least until I purchase a test record! 🙄😝

    High marks, nice work!

You haven't arrived at the peak of TT OCD until you have the best VTA settings listed on your albums like Joe (hearingimpared, RIP) did. :D

The 8m length will go from router to switch, and the 0.5m from switch to ENO filter.

I have not compared LEEDH to a passive preamp attenuator but will have the opportunity in a few weeks when my stepped attenuator comes from Khozmo.

True. But unfortunately, the signal was going through LEEDH AND the Cary volume controls.

    From the Lampizator Baltic-3 / 4 user manual ...
Our main music tube - excellent in-Directly Heated Dual Triode 6SN7GT contributes 80% to sound quality and you can use 6SN7 with any additional letters in the name code, as well as 6H8C from Soviet production.

I acquired these about 10 years ago, rolled them On ‘n Off into my (now sold) Cary SLP-98 . ...
and I’m not getting any younger

Very detailed w/ strong bass. Works well in my rig. ... they’re here to stay (for the foreseeable future)

    Almost 78 years young and A Rock’n !

Thanks guys! It’s certainly a fun place to hang out. If you look closely on the couch, my two listening buddies are there too. They also love to hang out in the room!

I kinda figured it would, Lampizator overbuild their power supplies.

    It’s a phenomenal DAC. …
this weekend, I’ll be setting aside my Buchardt’s for a while and reconnecting the Salk HT2-TL‘s .... and a couple of weeks after that I’m going to remove my Cary preamp and run the Lampi as a DAC/pre.

Presently, there’s 2 vol controls in the mix. That can’t be good. As good as the the Cary is, eliminating it might be beneficial . . . That’s the goal, in an attempt to downsize.

Found a Counterpoint SA2000 on eBay and took a chance. The good…looks like it was modded by Alta Vista with upgrades to almost all of the caps. Even the rectifier was upgraded. 8 pairs of RCAs were replaced. All of the solid state buffer circuitry was pulled as well. Based on the old Alta Vista website, someone dropped a couple grand on the mods. Came with original box and manual to boot. The bad…it has a hum in the output.
