    I think changing the bottom rail is a nice touch. I am planning on changing my CRS+ by deleting that rail and adding bottom and top caps like my 1Cs along with cloth sides too. Sort of a compact version of the 1C of you will.

    Yes I will use the old one as a template to extend down to the bottom of the existing cabinet and cap off the top and bottom in good wood! I'm excited too as I can see it in my head!

    I thought about doing something like that as well.. But I'm sticking with the plan I have now..

    I didn't use a heat gun to apply, I just wrapped them in a warm room, and used an exacto knife to trim it in, used a combination square for the 45 degree cuts on the corners....

    For less than a $100 I'm happy with them... Better than the $1500 I was quoted to have them veneered... :#
