    Hi gimped,
I am the original owner for a pair of SDA 1B speakers. Had the speakers in storage from 1996 till 2018. When I got back to listening through them, they seemed to have lost some of the cymbal “twinkle” they had before. Also, the upper midrange-seem to be very high and strident covering high vocals. I blamed this on age.

Recently, I did a check and my top tweeter and it was not working, bottom tweeter was. I took out the top tweeter to make sure it was connected, and when I moved the tweeter/lines outward the bottom tweeter started to cut in and out while playing. I took out a mid/woofer to see the crossover and if the tweeter leads were still connected and they appear to be attached. Now no lower tweeter even when leads are moved.

After doing an internet search, I joined Club Polk and here I am, harassing you. Any thoughts and solution? I hear you make some upgrade crossovers.

I can be better reached via home e-mail : [email protected] Thanks in advance
