Didn't gas prices do this around the last election as well? It might be an election thing, but I don't remember it happening as bizarrely 4 years ago as it is now........Lower is better, but the timing is odd IMO.........

You can see a historical chart of fuel prices in America back as far as six years. There's a slight dip in late November '04, but around election season it seems to be holding pretty steady.

Still $2.45 here and holding. Only a .04c drop in about a week. I hope this isn't the bottom price for around here. It's still way too high compared to most around the US

As of today, in Atlanta metro, we are seeing prices for Regular Unleaded ranging from $1.98 to $2.05. Awesome!

I filled up the other day with Premium (my Passat needs it) and it was only $31. A few months ago, it was well over $60 to fill up.

I'd like to thank President Bush for the falling gas prices! It was his fault when they were high, so it must be his credit when they are falling:rolleyes:

Seriously, this is why we never have an energy policy. The high prices and shortages never last long enough. People forget. The high price of gasoline hasn't been on the news media's headlines, so petroleum must not be an issue:rolleyes: Petroleum products (gasoline) are going to get a carbon tax. High prices will be returning soon!

I hope that you are not a coal miner!!!! Somebody want to put the coal industry out of business!

    But it's a beautiful day!

I think we're around $1.96 over here and dropping a few cents nearly every day. Hardly a day goes by where it doesn't drop by some amount. :D

How low will it go??? ;)

I hope we see $1.70 or so. I would not complain about that. Truthfully, I never thought i'd live to see gas under two bucks again. I mean seriously, I thought that was it forever, high gas prices.

Have gas prices also dropped in Europe too?
