Friend in Oklahoma City said it's $2.69 out there for regular, and that premium is less than $3. Last time I looked here it was $3.55, but my roommate went out and got gas yesterday and said it's $2.99.

So, I think I'm pretty happy with the trend. :)

$3.39 here outside DT Chicago. Still entirely too high based on what oil and wholesale gasoline has been selling at. Wholesale gasoline was at about $1.80 today.

Illinois does have the highest tax next to California on gasoline. I think Cook County in Chicago has the highest gas tax in the nation. Our corrupt governor(s) have to generate their own personal wealth somehow.

Still hovering around $3.30 in most of northern Louisiana. Funny, considering the refineries are less than 4 hours south.

$3.09 for reg in West Chester, PA area (at one of the least expensive sources (WaWa). It was 3.19 just a day ago still is at a Sunoco.

My oldest son is 5 years old. I remember coming home from the hospital after he was born and I took a picture of gas station sign with the price-it was $1.55 ($1.69 for super). June 2003 really wasn't that long ago.

$2.99 today same place. I don't don't when it dropped to $3.19 or when but that puts it at a $0.20 drop in a week.
Jersey is even better, my wife said it was $2.73 last week (NJ has lower fuel taxes than PA)

What I can't figure out is......I was taking my sons to school this morning and the Speedway(the one that's usually higher because of it local) was $2.78, the Gas America, down the street was $2.77, but the Marathon was $3.19. This **** is getting more and more ridiculous.

Its always $0.30 or more per gallon more near where I work or along the main corridors through the towns in between. Could be two Sunono stations a block apart with a $0.20 difference-They can't possibly blame that on supplier costs.

I just went out into town last night and observed some pretty good gas prices. A few stations have 87 for $2.72, 93 for $2.96. WalMart had 87 for $2.69.

Yeah I heard Hawaii was among the highest-No refineries or rigs in Hawaii? Then again isn't the typical cost of living higher there?

There are 2 refineries in the Islands..has to be with the large military presence. Many of hills above Pearl Harbour are used as fuel bunkers.
Chevron and Tesoro both have refineries in Hawaii...Tesoro can run 93,500 barrels per calendar day and Chervon can run 54,000 bcd. Funny thing is gas can be cheaper 30 miles away from the refinery than it is across the street from the refinery. Yes the overall cost of living is higher. You pay a lil more to live in paradise :)

Gas finally hit below $3.00 a gallon and now most stations have all types of gas. Still varies quite a bit, even up to .20 difference by just crossing the street. What's up with that?

F it, at least we have gas..........

I remember when diesel used to cost less than regular. I used to aspire (many moons ago) that one day I'll get a deisel. Less cost and gets you farther.
Now its more than premium everywhere I've seen.
