Maybe Polk Forum should prohibit wire and cable discussions like Audio Asylum does on some of it's Asylum's ?
This is almost like a religion argument.

Why not set up a cable difference test at the next Polk Fest, and you can demonstrate these 'special powers' for all to see ?

OK. I have never claimed any "special powers", but if you want to ascribe that to me, fine.

By the way, I am somewhat confused about something. In this post you discuss your banning from the Polk forum and your return under the alter ego, "ABX":
    ka7niq wrote: »
I did not start this crap.
It was allowed to continue until I blew my top.
Then I found myself banned, unable to post.
When I was "down" the members of this fine "family" continued to put the boots to me, and so I deleted my cookies then "summoned" ABX.
When ABX was also banned, it left me the choice to either summon another entity, or go to Polk.

Your statement above appears to be in direct contradiction to your statement posted on the Audio Asylum forum on 08/10/07 where you are discussing your banning from the Audio Circles forum:

"As you KNOW Bruce, no one is EVER really banned.
All it takes is a simple deletion of the cookie, a different email and moniker, and one is Back.
Dynamic ISP is a wonderful thing, and comes standard at no extra charge with Fiber Optic.
I COULD be "back in business" in a heartbeat, but I am not going to stoop to that."

The underlined emphasis is mine. The original post can be read on the Audio Asylum forum. Here is the link: No Sir, Ka7niq Won't "Stoop".

I am just curious as to why you think our forum is worthy of "stooping" and the Audio Circles forum is not.

While discussing your alter ego, "ABX", I noticed that you said that you "summoned" an "entity". I have only heard such terms used in a few other instances:

    1. Mental health professionals discussing the summoning of one or more "entities" in a person with multiple personality disorder.

    2. Catholic clergy discussing the summoning of a demonic entity from within a person who was allegedly possessed by a demon.

    3. Actors in a science fiction or horror movie discussing or acting out the summoning of a demonic or some other hostile entity or entities from the netherworld or some alternate dimension.

I just thought your choice of words was interesting.

DarqueKnight, I was banned from Audio Circles for the following reason.
A guy, who did not identify himself as a moderator, sent me a PM flaming my Avatar.
I flamed him right back, IN A PM, and found myself banned.
Turns out, he was the OWNER of Audio Circles.
No one on the VMPS Forum except Brian even knew what happened to me, nor were they "self righteously" talking behind my back either.

    Big difference here.
Before I got banned, F1NUT was actually TELLING me to "get ready, it's coming" before Russman banned me.
Because I do not feel Russman was justified in banning me, I returned as ABX, until I could talk with Polk.

I have not used ABX since my return.

I just got banned from there.

No big deal, I only went there for tips on how to overclock my Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop.

I got a PM from somebody named "Uncle Mikey" never identifying himself as a moderator, telling me he did not like my Avatar. I asked the guy IF he were a moderator, and IF he wasn't then, he could "go suck an egg". Next thing I knew, I was banned, LOL. Turns out "Uncle Mikey" was actually Dell founder and CEO Michael Dell.

Like I said, the Dell forum is not a place I hang out often, and with exception of scrounging around for overclocking tips, I do not know much about it.

Anyone else ever had problems there ?

No big deal, but based on how I was treated, I am going to write a letter to the CEO of every company that uses Dell computers and ask them to stop using Dell products or I will boycott them.

The underlined emphasis is mine. .
One must question why you underlined my post ?
It is pretty plain to me that you are trying to "make the case" that since I was banned on another forum, I should be banned here too ?

I travel to many forums, and have strong opinions.
These strong opinions can cause conflict with those that do not share them.
I Googled you as well Dark knight, and you seem to only "exist" here on the Polk Forum ?

It is easy to hang out with like minded people with similar ideas.
Like being a Democrat is pretty easy in some places.
But, go to a redneck barber shop around here and talk about pulling out of Iraq, and you got problems!

My ideas simply do not "fit" with yours, or those of your friends.
Rather then simply accept me as being different from you and your friends,. you seek to eliminate me.

    This is NOT the way.

You THINK I am here to "make trouble", but you are wrong.
I am a Polk owner with every right to be here as you.

Be nice to me, and I will be nice to you, that is how it works.
I know you print up the compendium, and are not used to being questioned.
Like my questioning you about replacing ALL caps in Polk speakers with expensive Film caps for instance ?
In MY mind, since Polk speakers use electrolytic except on the tweeters, you are calling Matt Polk a rip off.
Polk speakers have long gotten great reviews WITH some electrolytic caps in the crossovers.
But then along comes you and your Compendium, and suddenly YOU know better then Matt Polk and Harry Pearson what sounds good.
So, when I DARE to question you, you try and mount a big smear campaign against me.
LOOK at the hatred in you, Googling through thousands of my old posts, just trying to discredit me.
And ALL because I dared to question you.

Any time we put our ideas out there, they are subject to counter ideas.
    That goes with the territory.
    Get used to it.
You disagreed with me in the amplifier current thread, but I am not searching through your back posts, and freaking underlining text that was never highlighted before.

I guess it is obvious you ARE here to cause trouble to me Heiny.
Yes, I edited my post, and a Fish does stink from the head down.
The picture Russman posted was aimed at me.
I went to reply and forgot the quoted text on this forum does not include pictures.
So, it made my text appear stupid.
    Thus, I edited it.
I put "nice picture" in it's place.
Here is what I mean by a Fish stinks from the head down.

It is my opinion Russman is a poor moderator.
I am entitled to my opinion.

He allows those he likes to verbally abuse those he don't.
He uses his moderator powers selectively and unequally.
Those he likes get away with murder, those he don't get banned.

Perhaps one of the most interesting words in the English language today is the word "****." Out of all of the English words that begin with the letter F, "****" is the only word that is referred to as the F-word.

It's the one magical word, just by it's sound can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love. "****" is derived from German, the word "flicken," which means to strike. In English "****" falls into many grammatical categories.

As a transitive verb for instance : "John **** Shirley."
As an intransitive verb. "Shirley ****."

It's meaning is not always sexual.
It can be an adjective such as "John's doing all the **** work."
As part of an adverb: "Shirley talks too **** much!"
As an adverb enhancing an adjective: "Shirley's **** beautiful!"
As an interjection: "****! I'm late for my date with Shirley."
    As a conjunction: "Shirley's easy, **** she's stupid."
    As a noun: "I don't give a ****."
As part of a word: "Abso-****-lutely" or "in-****-credible"
And, as almost every word in a sentence: "**** the **** ****."

As you must realize there aren't too many words with the versatility of "****." As in these examples describing situations such as:

    Aggression: "**** you!"
    Agreeable: "**** A."
Apathy: "Who really gives a ****?"
    Confusion: "What the ****?"
    Deception: "You're a **** liar."
    Denial: "I didn't **** do it."
    Despair: "I'm **** again."
    Difficulty: "I don't understand this **** question."
Disbelief: "How the **** did you do that?"
    Disgust: "**** me."
    Dismay: "Oh, **** it."
Dismisal: "Why don't you go outside and play hide and go **** yourself"
Displeasure: "What the **** is going on here"
Fraud: "I got **** by the used car dealer."
Greetings: "How the **** are you?"
    Incompetence: "He's a **** up."
    Laziness: "She's a **** off."
Lost: "Where the **** are we?"
Panic: "Let's get the **** out of here."
    Perplexity: "**** if I know."
    Pleasure: "I couldn't be **** happier."
Puzzlled: "How the **** should I know?"
    Rebellion: "I don't give a **** what he said!"
    Resignation: "Oh, **** it!"
    Retaliation: "Up your **** ****!"
Suspicion: "Who the **** are you?"
    Trouble: "Well, I guess I'm **** now."

It has also been used by many notable people throughout history:

"What the **** was that?" - Mayor of Hiroshima
"Where the **** did all these Indians come from?" - General Custer
"Whats with all this **** water?" - Captain of the Titanic
    "That's not a real **** gun." - John Lennon
"Who the ****'s gonna find out?" - Richard Nixon
"Heads are gonna **** roll." - Anne Boleyn
"**** woman drivers." - Commander of Space Shuttle
"Any **** idiot could understand that." - Albert Einstein
"It does so **** look like her!" - Picasso
"How the **** did you work that out?" - Pythagoras
"You want what on the **** ceiling?" - Michaelangelo
"Why?- Because its **** there!" - Edmund Hilary
"I don't suppose its gonna **** rain?" - Joan of Arc
    "Scattered **** showers my ****." - Noah
"I need this parade like I need a **** hole in the head." - John F. Kennedy

I'm sure you can think of many more examples, with all of these multipurpose applications how can anyone be offended when you use the word? We say, use this unique flexible word more often in your daily speech. It will identify the quality of your character immediately. Say it loudly and proudly: "**** YOU!"

I apologize to you fellow Polkies for lying. I said that I would no longer post in this thread. I have a message that I would like to relay directly to Justin.....

ARE YOU PROUD OF WHAT YOUR DECISION HAS DONE TO THIS ONCE GREAT FORUM!!!!????

The moderators have been doing a great job!!! Maybe if you paid attention to the forum a little bit more, you would have realized that. I apologize for being so blunt.
