You definetly have that right, H9! The only loss is gas at this point, which will be easily made up.

Ok guys; I have everything packed in boxes except for the stands that will go unpacked (and my clothes....not sure if I should take anything??). I will only take one of the TAD-60's...too much stuff. Tomorrow I need to go to the office for a couple of meetings but if everything works as planned I should be on the road by 2 PM. That puts me at Mike's hopefully by 7:30 PM. Make sure they are COLD!!!!!

I am on plan so far. I picked up a rental van and Norm helped me load up the speakers. Victor, Jessica and Greg will stop at my house in the AM and help me finish loading. We should be on the road to Bloomington early morning. Norm said maybe I should have got a bigger truck....

Looking forward to this PF. I will be leaving with a_mattison and his wife Michelle about 9:30 Saturday morning w/my LSi 9's and stands. Oh yes, and some good demo music.

Do we have an updated head count for those MIA?

Also, since I'm not huge beer drinker I'm bringing a bottle of my favorite Rum. I still want to try some of the beer Opus is going to provide but I can't drink it all day and night, to much just doesn't agree with me.

No word from Joey in forever - is he still planning on coming? Seems like a waste of a perfectly good pissing match if he doesn't show... (read through the thread again if you don't get it) :p

    Michael

    Mike,

Emailed Victor about this last week. Said that I'm scheduled for work on Friday AM and Saturday PM.... **** gave me 2 days in the week off instead. The schedule is locked unless it's an emergency, cant switch with a fellow classmate according to the dean. I was set for the June dates, but these May dates came from left field for me. I didnt anticipate this schedule to be the PF dates. Not to worry though, it seems like you guys have enough gear going.

Have fun everyone, I'll check back for the thread that you all put up about Chicago '07. I'm sure it'll be a blast.

Maybe in '08 I'll make it and I'll make up for my absence this year. Ya'll have fun now... Victor especially since I've seen that he's been so hard at work getting this PF 07 together... he has my respect.

    Enjoy guys.

a_mattison I'm assuming you have directions, just call me in the morning when you are ready to swing by and get me. I went to school at ISU so I'm somehwhat familiar with the area, but I admit I haven't been back in about 8-9 years so I'm sure a lot has changed.

Here's a funny little note that is making really look forward to tomorrow... I was chatting with one of the guys at the company I was visiting today over lunch. He asked what I had going on for the weekend, so I brought up the Polkfest. He said, "I used to be way into that audiophile stuff before too. In fact, I'm building a media room and am going to put in a nice Bose Lifestyles system" "I know they are expensive, but they sound great..."

:) WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I just smiled and said, "cool"

I am at the hotel; had to stop here before going to Mike's for two reasons:

1.-Check in so that tonight I come directly to bed.
2.-Connect to internet to click on BIN.....got me a pair of minty 7's with Peerless :D:D Too bad I could not contact the seller earlier or I would have them with me now :(

BTW, if you raise the I Sonic about an inch off the surface, it sounds even better.
