I looks like the Preamp list consists of mostly tubes. My Nakamichi CA5 is just sitting on my coffee table right now. Is anyone interested in hearing it? Its nothing exotic and also reasonably priced, but made very solid with very nice components. I much preferred it's sound over Parasound SS and Audcom tubes.

If it's not to troubling, bring it with.

We'll see how the weekend plays out. If there's any chance I can sneak away, even for a little while, I'll swing by. I just don't want to say I'll be there and not show up, so I'm playing it safe.

    Michael,

Bring them; I'd love to listen to the 7's and the 9's. I am taking my TAD tube amps to see how it matches with them.

Hmmm...Seems like a good deal since you're not taking the tweeter into consideration.

I know, but it bums me out! We are definitely going to have a good time, though. I've had lots of recommendations from colleagues on where to visit. My boss is even loaning me her navigation system, so if I do find time to make it, I won't waste any time getting lost! :D

I'm locked also. DKG999 are sharing a room Saturday night. I'm riding along with a_mattison Saturday morn and leaving with dkg999 Sunday morn. I decided I've waited to long for this get together to let a thing like WORK interfere. I'll just have to put some time in on Sunday afternoon so I won't feel guilty about the rest of my department putting in extra time. ;)

My brother was originally going to come as well, but he can't make it so take him off the confirmed list.

Is anybody going to be disappointed if I don't bring my newly modded 5b's? It's either the LSi 9's OR the 5b's, and I've decided HTRookie will not let me in unless I have the 9's in tow. I really don't feel like lugging around both pairs but if there is a solid interest in the 5b's I'll bring them. I figure we will probably have enough speakers anyways. Let me know.

Haven't seen anything from Jason (The zombie boy) and Noel (ND13). Noel has not posted much lately though. What's up guys? We are close enough to work something out and take a ride with me.......I am also willing to share the room as long as it is not Dorokusai :D:D

    H9, I agree with you; leave the M5's ;)

That's quite a few MIA. Perhaps they are coming since they didn't say they weren't. Oh well, it's going to be their loss if they can't make it.
