Lexus/Toyota apparently have a bunch of upgrades coming for 2020 to infotainment systems for a variety of their models if not all of them. They take their sweet time with rolling out such things, but as a consequence they have fewer complaints about tech not working right.

My two cents; keep in mind that 46% retained value in five years if you go new. Losing more than 35 grand in depreciation isn’t fun, when you decide you want an upgrade. I’m sure you know luxury cars are generally the worst at retaining value.

And it’s not that they aren’t good cars, it’s that luxury also means having the latest and greatest. So they generally aren’t owned more than a few years and or leased.

Buying a couple years old is the right move, financially speaking.

In the end it’s all about what you want and if it justifies the expense.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
