Yeah I don't think this is the year for my 49ers, too many changes and instability throughout the season. I also don't like the way the whole Alex Smith thing was handled, and I think karma's going to catch up and bite them in the **** during the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Smith is a great QB and at the end of last year I was calling for a replacement, and I still think that Kaepernick is the better choice - but I didn't like the way the whole situation was handled.

I"d love to see them in the super bowl, just don't feel like this is their year.

It's just typical of LSU to lose a game like that, they had such a close game with Auburn, Arkansas and unranked Ole miss, they deserved that loss:)

I can tell you that as a long suffering Redskins fan, i am actually optimistic about the future. With RG3, alfred morris and garcon the sky is the limit for the offense. I think their tun could be short this year but if the team can address the deficiencies on defense (corners and safeties especially) i think theyre set up to make some noise. I dont like our matchup with the seahawks but think we have advantage with home field. It should be interesting to say the least.

^^^Two of the best rookie QB's in the league. It's a good story all around. RG3 is VERY talented. Just hope he's able to avoid injury better in the future than he has his first year.

Matt Miller from Bleacher Report April 2012

"NFL Awards for worst draft day 2012"

    No. 1: Seattle Seahawks

After one of the worst picks in the first round I can ever remember, the Seattle Seahawks didn't draft any positions of need or draft for the future.

Pete Carroll is proving why he didn’t make it in the NFL the first time. Not only was Bruce Irvin a reach at No. 15, the Seahawks proved they were oblivious to their madness by celebrating their selection.

As if the day wasn’t bad enough, Seattle selecting Russell Wilson, a QB that doesn’t fit their offense at all, was by far the worst move of the draft. With the two worst moves of the draft, Seattle is the only team that received an F on draft day.

    Grade: F

    Bet he's rethinking that assessment....

Well, Johnny could've had 12 more passing yards to break another record (300 yd passing/200 rushing in one game), but I'm extremely happy with the outcome!

I'm glad. I called the score being 54-37, A&M. I just hate to say that because A&M teams of past really knew how to screw things up, even if they were the better team. I think I'm finally convinced that this is a new A&M. Having said that...we're losing a bunch of key seniors...and some that aren't seniors, to the NFL. I'm realllllllly hoping our O-line stays. We'll need them next year!

I didn't see our D being so dominant in the second half. Jones was on point on those passes in the first half. Seems like every time he threw it was an 8-12 yard reception. I was screaming when Johnny got picked off. That should've been a TD. Pass wasn't perfect, but it was easily catch-able. Our receivers are still getting used to having to try and remain open while Johnny does his thing in the back field...and be ready for the pass at any second.

    And here's a little something I put together :D

    Johnny Manziel vs OU

    Total yards rushing:
    JM: 229
    OU: 123

    Rushing Long:
    JM: 44
    OU: 18

    Rushing TDs:
    JM: 2
    OU: 0

Yup, Johnny Football has more points from rushing and ensuing point after than OU had the entire game.

O-line was dominant. That being said, I'm thinking if the teams traded QB's, OU would win. Manziel was that good.

I told my wife just before halftime that it was over. I felt like OU outplayed A&M in the first half...only to be losing. Didn't expect the dominance in the 2nd half though. It was impressive.

So does the Texans, 2TD in last 12 quarters----1 and done, if it wasn't for the defense (JJ Watt) this game could have gone to Cinncy

Texans haven't played with the explosive energy and as "The complete team" since the bye or the ravens game...not sure if Shaub can get them to the big games next year either

Tomorrows games should be more exciting...battle of the rookies

Oklahoma beat WVU by one point, 50-49, they're overrated. the two top ten teams they played this year they got blown out by, and the other two ranked teams they are 1-1. I don't count Texas because they shouldn't have been ranked in the first place. great win for the Aggies.

Man did the vikings suck or what??? I am glad they made the playoffs, and that they lost this game because everyone from the ownership and coaching staff, all the way on down to the beer guy can see what they need to do in the off-season. They need a quarterback, possibly two, and some guys that can stretch the field and catch a ball or two. They were lucky they didn't finish the season with a 6-10 record.

Nooshinjohn..Yeah it wasn't good at all.Vikings really do need a QB.Since I am a Saints man and the Viks did make the playoffs, did you see how bad my Saints defence was this year?About as bad as it gets something like as bad as 50 years ago.GB look good in the game and with Rogers and fact that GB has most everyone back I say SB trip for them cause I just don't see the Falcons winning, GB has there #.

GB has to get through SF first. I still don't think this is the year for my 49ers, but they can shut down that GB offense.
