It's been a while since all of that. And Lewis is NOT the only PERSON on the team. Congrats to the Ravens. I had predicted a Ravens win by 3 points if the game were close, but I had NOT expected a first half blowout?

Baltimore could use a victory like this. So could Philadelphia, but I may not see THAT in my lifetime. lol

Part of it is the murder that he was a part of. I'm pretty sure if I had been in his shoes that night I'd still be in prison. Secondly, it's probably just a personal thing. Everything just seems so planned and scripted. That stupid dance, the sound bytes when he knows he's miked. In all honestly, some of my reasons for not liking him could very well be anothers person's reason for liking him. To be fair, I hope that his faith is real and not an act.

This is the NFL! For lack of a better word...it's ENTERTAINMENT! When Ray Lewis comes out of that tunnel at M&T Bank Stadium, the crowd goes insane! The dance is entertainment! Why do they put mics on the players? For the fans entertainment.

I see you're from the Dallas area, so I assume you're a Cowboys fan. Why have those hot cheerleaders? Why not just do away with them? Surely all their moves seem...scripted. The silly dances they do. This is supposed to be a tough game, not girlies with pom poms.

    See what I mean. Entertainment!

BTW, I love the Cowboy Cheerleaders! Coming from a Ravens fan, they're still the hottest!
    No excuses!

    Nope, not a Cowboys fan.

As I said, some of the very reasons I dislike him are reasons other people like him.

I'm just getting too old. When I go to a game I don't want to be "entertained," I just want to watch a football game.

I was at the Superbowl. Great game!!

It was Ravens nation in New Orleans. We outnumbered the 49rs fans 3 to 1. Plus EVERY single person I met from New Orleans or anywhere else not San Fran was rooting for the Ravens! Incredible experience! Incredible town! Incredible game!!

Side note. Ray Lewis did not murder anyone ( do some research ). What Ray Lewis does do is help almost everyone he comes in contact with including children and the underprivileged. He has transcended sports and his story is an amazing one that will surely be made into a movie. Storybook ending for Ray and the Ravens!

if you want to commit an unspeakable act with your homies, atlanta is the spot.

App. one year ago, a young guy who was a security guard downtown murdered a young girl and shot her two friends down in the street, stole her car and was caught a few miles later.

He later told authoritys he acted after learning at west georgia college about how actions like this could be justified because of past racism.

The next day, it was story 6 on the noon news, story six, traffic and weather were far more important than a young girl, just out of college, and her two friends lying in atlantas streets, with their lifesblood running into the gutter.

Uh oh, Manziel couldn't pull off the signature win of the season this time could he? sorry, maybe next time, if they can go undefeated for the rest of the year you may see a rematch in January. Turnovers is an understatement, the pic-6 is what got me, when manziel fell on his butt trying to tackle Suneri, priceless. they'll show that one on his heisman reel. ROLL TIDE! GAME OVER.

What a great game. Hard to be disappointed when you break school records for passing (Manziel) and receiving (Evans) against the number 1 team in the country and the reigning national title winners. You can't just give up 35 unanswered points to a team like Bama and expect to come out with the W.

What got me was when Alabama's big d-line gets their hands on him, and still can't tackle ;)
    manzielmagic_medium.gif

Great game on both sides. A couple definitive plays could have swung the game A&Ms way (not throwing an interception on the 4 yard line and letting Bama score on the ensuing drive) or could have made the score even worse had A&M not ripped out the ball from Yeldon on the goal line. Mistakes were made on both sides, some of it mental, some of it forced by how good both these teams really are.

We're definitely going to need improvement on D. It doesn't help when a few of your starters have their first game against a team like Alabama. But Johnny Football is for real. Kid is a freak. Let's hope he stays with us one more year.

It is what it is, the Aggies aren't as talented as the Tide. However it will be very hard for either team to make it to the championship game if they kept playing defense the way they've been during the last few weeks. Even VA Tech's offense made Alabama's defense look suspected. Even Rice's and SHS's offense made Texas A&M's defense look horrible.

A&M's front line is pretty young...and for several people, Alabama was their first game...talk about a sink or swim situation.

Bama's D isn't really designed for an offense like A&M. I think they will do much better against teams like LSU. Although I hope 'Bama loses a couple more games and A&M wins out all the way through the national championship :)

Exalted, you're right about everything. Alabama's Defense could not come close to pulling down manziel and couldn't stop Evans at all. they'll be fine they just can't play A&M again..... unless they win out and meet in January, which could possibly happen seeing as how the BCS is still in effect this year lol. the defense will look a lot better from here on out since they don't have much of a schedule left to play, except for LSU.

A&M surely surprised me last year coming into the SEC and shut finebum's mouth, I don't listen to him because he's an overly biased jerk. plus replacing the whole coaching staff, apparently they all fit the bill. then what Finebum said about A&M going 4-6 sounded feasible since the year before they lost 6 games in the second half. they done good. and yeah it is what it is, and I'm glad it's a W for Bama:)

I didn't have my Colts making the playoffs this year because they didn't have a running game and thus I didn't expect Luck to survive the season. This changes things a little and may push them over the edge. I still don't think they're going to have a great running game because their O line is not very good, but this should help and may at least create the illusion of having a decent running game.
