Yeah. Not even close. I'm sure the NCAA doesn't like the fact that millions of viewers are clicking the game off before halftime.

Alabama and Oregon would have been interesting.

Maybe we should just create a new division for the SEC teams because clearly nobody can hang with them. I get tired of hearing SEC all the time, but it's hard to make a case for anyone else when they do what they did last night.

Personally I was rooting for Notre Dame because they've been terrible for so long and I like an underdog story, but it was over in the first quarter.

well I wanted the game to be closer to be honest, it's not like I can't stand ND or hate them so I mean it's not like I wanted to embarrass them, kinda stinks.

Wow, this first game is almost unwatchable. Did we put back in the replacement officials? I mean jeezus, they have really killed the flow of the game.

It's kinda weird that you thought it would be a miracle for the 49rs to win this game. I mean, everybody else, especially Las Vegas, put SF as the solid favorite; GB couldn't even win the final regular season game to earn home court advantage. I guess it's just a way to help ease your pain in case your team lose

not sure why you always feel the need to be some passive aggressive with me, but please don't presume to know what I'm thinking.

I really thought GB had more momentum going into that game given how they'd looked recently, and SF was only a couple games removed from that blowout loss to Seattle where I felt they got exposed, simple as that.

You mean the same guys in Vegas who predicted my Broncos would win easily????

    Yeah, thought so...

Well I hope you're right this time around, because I do not want to face Seattle again next week.

I think Seattle is a better team than Atlanta and would much rather play Atlanta even if that means taking it on the road.

Stunning win by my Ravens! Nobody gave us a shot in hell at beating Manning and the Broncos. Talk about a slugfest...I thought I was watching a classic 15 round Ali / Frazier fight! Gotta admit though, those Bronco corners and safety blew it BIGTIME!

Our Rookie kicker Justin Tucker exorcised those Billy Cundiff demons!

    Bring on the AFC Championship!
    No excuses!

Maybe I'm a sore loser, but I have to think that if those two teams played 10 times the Broncos win 8 of them. Unfortunately for us the game yesterday is the only one that counts...

The guys on one of the local sports show out here were putting all the blame on Manning (I live in Dallas so there's nothing else to talk about since all the local teams are so bad), and I'd disagree with that but not give him a free pass altogether. I don't think they would have been in that game in the first place had it not been for him. I also feel like he played well for most of the game. HOWEVER, I do think that he does tend to make mistakes when under alot of pressure. He has alot of 4th quarter wins, but those are typically during the regular season where if you lose the game the season isn't over. But get him into an end of the game or overtime situation like yesterday or in his last super bowl appearance and he does tend to make mistakes. He's my favorite player, and is the reason that the Broncos have transitioned from a team that 'I like a little and follow because I spent so much time up there' to one of my favorites (still behind the 49ers and Colts of course), but I'd like to see him perform better in the clutch.

ESPN is on Manning this morning as well. They just showed an interesting stat, he has 8 losses in his 1st postseason starts, twice as much as any other player in history, not exactly the stat sheet I'd want to be on...

Denvers defense was never up to snuff to carry them all the way. 3 td's against Champ Bailey ? He was getting beat all night long. Now for Payton, I love the guy, think he's a class act and all that and nothing but respect for him. But.....he can't throw when on the run or forced out of the pocket. You would think the coaches would have worked on that with him. He should have thrown that last ball away instead of trying to force it. They should have never been in that position to begin with.

San Fran shocked me, they brought the fire. For the first time all season I saw a worried look on Rogers face. GB never did have that good of a defense as evident last night. Their QB had an Andrean Peters type running game, holly cow man. The second half I was fully expecting GB to adjust but it never happened. San Fran kept the pressure on Rogers, and simply gave them an old fashioned butt kicking in that 2nd half. Their defense is fast man. I had my doubts because all season they were up and down on their level of play but they sure brought it last night. Both games were exciting to watch for a change.

I felt the same way about SF, I felt like they were inconsistent at time and really thought they'd get exposed since all I hear is that Rogers is the greatest QB in the league. I thought Denver would win yesterday and that SF would lose, turns out I had it backwards but if they couldn't both win I'll take the way it all ended.
