If PFB is a real farmer I'd hate to sell him a tractor or hay bailer or any other equipment that he could screw up.
And not fix to keep it running... -
What local Hi-Fi store? In many areas they have been gone for over a decade.
That's probably because nobody in your area supported them, all because they saved a couple of bucks, we have a few in our area still and they are not that more expensive than your online suppliers.Home Theater

I just checked up on the emotiva site from another computer because they locked me out
Well the entire thread was wiped clean off the forum or I just cant find it. If so this kinda putts me in mind of monoprice's web site if you dont say anything other than "totally awesome product " then it disappears . I never said nothing about emotiva or the company .All I stated was what the situation was with my amp and titled the thread ' binding posts wont accept banana's " .It seems really strange that they banned me and wiped the hole thread that was less than one page with no bad words ,brand bashing or ill feeling -
But if you post there like you do here (even outside that thread) I'm sure that played a part as well..
Just saying.. -
I don't blame them for deleting your thread. Their site is more of a marketing tool anyhow. Your entire premise is somewhat odd - "won't accept bananas." You've likely portrayed their product inaccurately, and your posts only tell one side of a story. Right now, I'd say your side is lacking credibility.

The tractor is not where I would worry, but he might just end up bailing himself into one of those nice little cubes.:biggrin:The Gear... You just now figured that out about the Emo site, it's cult like over there. DO NOT say any negative things or you and your opinion's are gone (snaps fingers). Great way to run a site and falsely promote a product.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Actually, they folded soon after Circuit City and Best Buy arrived, long before internet sales really took off. We only had a couple of shops anyways.
I don't miss them, they hardly stocked anything, and always wanted full retail to order it for you, with no return on "special orders". They got what they deserved. -

I read that thread, and you're lying. You were insulting, even after an employee asked you to contact him so they could help you out. It was pretty much the same as your thread here. which I suspect will also be closed or deleted soon. -
Hopefully the mods here have taken notice and will act in kind.
I'm sorry you think I should be banned from the forum but I really dont post here to cause trouble .Sure there has been a couple of times when I have been got sick of people bashing me and retaliated but generally I just come here to read ,post and enjoy
I think everyone here is great even if you dont like me .I love polk speakers because they got me into this hobby and everytime a friend or family asks audio advice I tell them to start with polk speakers and to get an intro of what good audio should sound like. I still use my rti's for video games everyday and just cant seem to let them go .
I now get the emo forum and the way it works after tonight and I also understand why many members choose to go with a different brand. The company for me has not proven to offer outstanding value or great customer service and the minute I questioned the product I was tossed to the curb -
PFB....how old are you?
I did feel sorry for you in this thread. Until I went back and read some of your other threads. It's rather entertaining to read your replies for sure. But if I were you I would take responsibility for YOUR mistake with this amp. Listen to what others are telling you here. And shut your trap.--Gary--

Ok I guess I just can't understand why you keep going on and on about it. Before that thread was closed, Matt Wall told you to calm down that you were issued an RMA for you to return the amp. Which means that you don't have to pay to return it. And yet here you are yammering on and on how YOU were wronged in this situation. What rma bull crap ? please explain because I was told to double box it and mail it back
No one told me to calm down at all either .The rep told everyone there to calm down because everyone was being rude to me and you even posted a whole bunch of my polk threads that you thought I looked bad in on the emo forum just to make it look like there was no validity in my situation just so you could be a winner on the emo forum. How come you have hundreds upon hundreds of posts there but 33 here and most of them are on my posts about emotiva .Your getting all angry and stuff because I must have hurt some kinda source of pride in you
Please gimi this RMA number so I can mail it back for free and donate the shipping money to a charity
Please in future shoot me a pm or be a silly suasage and post more comments here that you know I wont reply too -

I would just replace the binding posts (all sets) and be done with it. I've been down this path with my D-Sonic amp. It arrived with a bent post, played fine though. I emailed the company, Dennis sent me a new set of replacement posts. Opened the cover, went to work. Warranty was still good on the unit afterward. I'm sure Emo would do something like this for you, it's not hard work at all. Either that or just get rid of the amp all together.
But since you have the top off, upgrade them all.

Wasn't that bad. In line with many posts here. However, I agree with your assessment of crazyhorse. I found it amusing that the guy who was saying he needs more proof of a difference than just some body saying it sounds different claims to be a "Ph.D, Extraterrestrial Psychosomatic Hypothetical Astrophysics".
Also, while this is just showing my ignorance, but this was the first time I heard someone say the Emo amps are class A then switching to class B. I did not know that. That means they are the same as my Cambridge-Audio 840W amps, at a lower price. :frown:
