    I dunno, some take where their gear is assembled very seriously. Better gear is assembled by the manufacturer under the same roof albeit Tawian, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong.........no joking matter John.

    Just begcause the crap is old does not a classic make. It has to have aged gracefully and have the right patina. It must also have come from good stock. This thread stunk on ice the moment the OP hit the post tab.

    On a more positive note i just recieved an email back from Polk Audio..and Kim Jasper report's that the LSiM707..(line)..will be available late September to early October..Peace guys is was fun..
