Right now on just the 6.5" rings the cost I have it quoted for will be $5.80 ea. + shipping + 3% paypal if you choose to pay with paypal.. Now if we had a thousand of these going out the door the cost would drop big time..

I figured this would give some of you an idea what it will cost just to do your drivers....

    Keep in mind:

    Material cost,
    Laser cut time,
    Hardware cost,
    Installing hardware time.

    Pack and ship...

I will just run this through the shop as a job...

When I did the crossover plates my boss let me have some drop aluminum to make them with, and that saved those of you guys that got them a lot of money. That and I cut and time saved them myself, and did it on my own time..

Is this a one time thing? Will there be an opportunity down the road to get these? If not then I can up my order count.

Cool Larry, that means I wouldn't have to buy them all at once and go broke. I could do one set of speakers at a time. Much better.......

Six bucks a pop seems very reasonable to me. Now to find out what the PR ring would cost.

The PRs will require a lot of real estate on the sheet metal. Unless you could cut at least one mid driver out of the middle, maybe two on the 15 inchers. Let's just hope Polk was accurate with their hole drilling.

that shouldn't be a big deal. Worst case you could fill the original holes and drill new ones.

I'll take complete sets for a pair of 2.3TL's, 2B's and CRS+'s. If you are selling the bolts as well, I would like black ones.

Would the bolts not be of a standard thread size/pitch that you could get them from your local hardware store?

If any thread pitch is involved, you should keep it 1/4-20....since almost everything Polk is of that measurement.

Not sure but could the PR be cut in 4 pieces to save on scrap and size for shipping.

I hope you could add the screws for us overseas guys. Brass, black or gold plated :p

I have some concerns with doing the passives for all models.

The SRS,1.2,1.2tl and the 1C's of course are no problem. And I have a passive for the monitor 7's so no problem there as well.

So I need help with the other models. I'm sure the passive in the 1C's is the same in one in the SDA 2B's.

No reason to worry about where Polk drilled there holes I will send a drill template with the set.

So some help from you SDA gurus would help.

Larry, the SDA SRS 2, 2.3, 2.3TL, SDA SRS, 1.2 and 1.2TL all use 15" PR's. All the CRS versions are 10". All the rest are 12". I can make a template for the 10" if you need me to.

Larry, count me in for a set for my 2A's.

That would be four MW's, and two 12" PR's.

I'll probably get a set for my M7's eventually too, but the SDA's take priority.

$6 a pop seems VERY reasonable to me.:)

    Any love for the SRT's?

I'm placing an order for my Sda's.
    1.2tl, srs 2, srs 2.3tl, srs 3.1tl, sda 1c, crs +.
One complete set each plus black bolts if available.
At a later date I will do all my monitor series. I have too many of those to do right away.

"Ok" I have the Dimensions for the 10" 12" and 15" passives.

    Thanks Jesse!!

On the 10" passive did Polk ever use all 8 holes in any of the models? I will hardware for all eight but I was just curious.

This might seem slow for me to get all of this together, but I am slammed at work right now. As soon as I have everything ready to roll I will start going through the list and get PM's to to you guys. I don't want to hold on to your money to long, I want you guys to be able to pay and know you will see them within two weeks max.

    Thanks for being patient,

    Larry.
