To add to my previous comments, I still listen to U2 and think they have a ton of great songs. Regarding the political stuff, it’s not even stuff that I necessarily disagreed with (sometimes it was about Ireland’s politics), but I just don’t want to hear that stuff if I go to a concert or if I’m watching a concert DVD. I’m paying to hear your musical talent, not your political opinion.
For the record, my response about U2 was just for fun. I pay no attention to any bands political affiliation or stance. I just saw an opportunity for a funny response and took it. Yeah, I agree that if you go to a concert? You go to see them and listen to their music, not get lectured on what they think about on a political level.
I actually haven't listened to U2 in a while. They do have some good tunes but there is SO much great music out there, getting rotation in is hard to do sometimes.

That’s the truth. While I love many of their songs, U2 is not the band to play if you want to hear what your system is capable of.

For as much as we (most of us anyway) love Pink Floyd, going to a Roger Waters concert these days will get you bombarded with some extremely left-wing political messages, visually and verbally. I think certain artists like to push a message.
I am not one who enjoys that, either right or left views. I just want the music.

I have found that out with many of the bands I used to listen too often, unfortunately.

Wait, what? Is that on the average -- or is that the genotype (or phenotype) of individual fans?
The latter would be kind of... troubling.
On the other hand, I guess they would've been a little ahead of their time.

The photographer who posted the image, Klaus Hiltscher, said in the caption:
I don't think I've ever seen nor heard it.In my list of the ten best Rock Albums of all times !!!
Hiltscher's Flickr account is pretty cool. Lots and lots of detailed photos of many, many different albums, generally well known but some pretty obscure. A treasure trove for LP completists who like to look, I'd opine.

As in many cases, a dying tradition. Along with jellied eels and tripe and onions. -

You can't get into heaven without having listened to, and appreciated, Wishbone Ash "Argus".
That's a fact. You can look it up. 👍Sal Palooza -

I have two (2) problems with U2 - 1. none of their stuff is recorded or mixed particularly well, and 2. The fact the “The Edge” is so often mentioned in the “best guitarist” discussions… I mean really?“Human beings are born with different capacities. If they are free, they are not equal. And if they are equal, they are not free.”

While rolling from Jetty Park in Port Canaveral to Sebastian inlet looking for any Cocaine that the recent storms may have pushed ashore, we were fortunate enough to witness a rare day light logger head sea turtle nest hatching . Very cool to witness. No seagulls around to pick them off. Every one of the 25 or so made it to the water.
