...Btw, I don't think anyone sent a message to venture how many, or what percentage, of RT25i's in the Maple variant were made. I should contact Polk Audio directly. I just want to know. Where are the so-called Polkie nuts??

I don't recall if I sent a thank you for your reply and advice to my original post on April 22nd. re: my thoughts of selling my like new pair of Rt25i's in MAPLE veneer.
My post had mentioned I had the original box & packing materials, inc. "rubber wall pads".
You thought I was referring to the Powerport/hanging bracket, which is a metal plate attached to the plastic rear panel. On the bottom of each panel are the two nubs, that keep the speaker vertically level when mounted on a wall. The "rubber wall pads" (4 pcs./approx. 1/4" sq.), which have adhesive backing, are placed on a wall in line with the nubs to protect that wall against marring or scratching.
It ruffles my feathers when people don't save their original boxes et al. Then again, Polk used cheap packing. Despite being an entry-level product, a real wood veneer speaker of almost furniture-grade construction, warrants better protection than just stapled cardboard inserts and drycleaner-like plastic. Oh well - Rich
