Captain Samantha Cristoforetti (Italian Air Force and ESA), posted this photo of herself in Star Trek Voyager uniform on Twitter from the ISS.
The Space X Dragon capsule pictured was about to deliver, amongst other things, the first espresso machine for the ISS, so now they won't be limited to instant (which really doesn't taste much like coffee).
My GF would agree that it's all about the coffee... LOLExpect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.

Smart woman @CGTIII, but does this mean that you are so boring that she needs coffee to stay awake during your conversations?! Aherm... <cough>
🙄
That would be the only possible conclusion. LOLPost edited by CGTIII onExpect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.

makes you wonder where their 3000 year old socks for 'em are...

Gah! Socks with sandals? NO THANK YOU!
They must not have been a favorite pair... don’t seem to have suffered much from extended use!
Probably ritual sandals for the afterlife -- low mileage in this world
I'm just musing, though -- archaeology is something I know little about... much less Egyptology, nor anthropology.
The socks/sandals thing -- the Romans, apparently, did it. They were heavily armed (for their day), though... so -- I mean -- who would throw shade at 'em for doin' it?

They're gone now, but here was their last (well maybe penultimate) hurrah. Photo taken on the 15th. No trickery involved except a CP filter to improve the sky contrast (EDIT: i.e., to make it look in the photo more like the way it appeared to my eyes).

Found this 2 .2 ft snake (Corn) running over my foot while putting some stuff in the recycled bin. I'm. Not afraid of snakes but when you grow up in the Mojave Desert you know what to look out for and you always wonder, hmmmmm is that a Sidewinder or a Mojave Green Diamondback? Turned out to be a Corn Snake.

Pick this up today for free. All I know is never plug in a tube amp without speakers connected. Also even though it looks intact there would be much work and restoration needed. When I saw back views of other 800B units on line I noticed two jumpers usually inserted in the rear RCA jacks, where I have circled in red. Since I also have the Fisher Dynamic Spacexpander (sans the spring thingy part used to make the reverb) the Spaceexpander may have been inserted where the jumpers are usually seen. From what I've read this Spacexpander was used in auto's, not so much for 2-channel. I remember reverb units for cars and some home use into the 1970's. From a quick look inside all the tubes are in place, but the wires (twine?) for the tuners on each side are not connected, but all connecting parts for them appear to still be there. This is a piece that someday I will seek out someone to prof. restore for me. I'm pretty sure I can find three replacement knobs for the front. @mhardy6647 (you know these)! Thanks for looking.
