Can anyone guess who this guy is? Not the guy in the uniform btw.

    I recognized Gretzky.

The other guy is either Eric Bloom of Blue Oyster Cult, Ahmet Zappa, my 7th grade math teacher, or someone we passed hitchhiking on our way to Maine in 1973.

Just heard: "She went through surgery fine and woke up on schedule. They will keep her to Friday for sure, and I may have them keep her until Saturday morning."

Thanks for asking / praying. o:)

If it's a Polk soundbar it's probably a good idea to have a backup system :D

Col. Paul W. Klipsch liked to use a Heresy to fill in between a pair of K-horns, when the latter were properly deployed and in a big room.

A catalog I have, dating from the early 1970s, shows that same gambit -- but with a Cornie used as the center fill loudspeaker instead. :)

I've been meaning to scan this for a long time (couldn't find it on Google images). Recently, there's much chatter about Stereophile's test of the current K-horn... which (finally) led me, circuitously, to pull out the above-mentioned brochure and scan the cover. B)

111 oz of fluid drained from our dogs left lung. Have to have the right done tomorrow. We still dont know what is causing it. I'm guessing that info will cost another $600.00. The vet was dumbfounded to pull that much fluid. She said she has never seen anything like it.

She is a rescue we got from Afghanistan.
She was found dying on the side of the road near Camp Xena. Hence her name Xena. Some US contractors smuggled her into the base and cared for her. We adopted her when they rotated out and did not want to leave her there. She was about 9 weeks old when they found her and it took about 4 months for us to get her to the US. We got her at about 8 months old.
