We had a master teacher in grammar high school that was nicknamed Minty because every afternoon he smelt like breath mints as he was trying to cover up his four scotches at lunchtime before he got home at night and his fat and psychopathic wife would beat him within inches of his life.

    Carpenter ants?

I'm on the top of the anthill looking down some carrion,
And the only explanation I can find,
Is the food that I've found at the bottom of this mound,
Your corpse has brought me to the mouth of this hill.
