111 oz of fluid drained from our dogs left lung. Have to have the right done tomorrow. We still dont know what is causing it. I'm guessing that info will cost another $600.00. The vet was dumbfounded to pull that much fluid. She said she has never seen anything like it.
She is a rescue we got from Afghanistan.
She was found dying on the side of the road near Camp Xena. Hence her name Xena. Some US contractors smuggled her into the base and cared for her. We adopted her when they rotated out and did not want to leave her there. She was about 9 weeks old when they found her and it took about 4 months for us to get her to the US. We got her at about 8 months old.

sorry to hear about your pup's chronic lung problems, @CH46E . Hope it gets sorted out in the fullness of time.
Sorry to change the subject, but just saw this Someplace Else and felt compelled to share it...
I thought, nay hoped, that this was fake news; just some lighthearted photoshopping. But noooooooo...

Blame it on us Vikings. Apparently we like SPAM.

Thanks guys for the kind words. She is 6 now. She is doing much better today and we are waiting on the lab results on the fluid.
And BTW, the Jalapeno SPAM rocks! Dont think I'd try pumpkin spice though! -
Prayers to Xena ... She is one beautiful pup!
I can't even get past the smell of SPAM.... Don't feed any of that to Xena!!!My New Year's resolution is 3840 × 2160

Pondering if this would work.

I should probably know better than to browse other hifi forums... but noooooo.
As seen Elsewhere.
It gets better; these are designed for biamplification.
(the blue wire is for the HF amplifier, the red for the LF amp)
So, whaddya think? single-ended 2A3 for the treble and a nice John Curl-designed Parasound amp for the bass?

I think the speakers would melt if connected to what you have in mind, Doc. Kinda like when Dracula touches a crucifix...

My local Goodwill is filled with stuff like that. It amazes me how determined some people are to push tweeters, cause I can't imagine it's particularly easy to get to that one.

Yeah, I noticed that, too.
It's good to see evidence that some folks today still have some initiative, isn't it?

How Kafka-esque.

She is doing well. Lab results on the fluid show no cancer or heart failure. So next is a ultrasound. Thanks for asking!
