    Last season was an absolute joy to watch, they overcame so much when they lost their quarterbacks , but the freshman QB brought it home! U of H got their coach, so it will be interesting how the new OS coach does this year. :)

    He sure looks like Rowe of Dirty Jobs. I wouldn't call the NU football head coach job dirty. But I definitely would call it tough, difficult and a thankless one if you can't do better than nine wins each year. The coaches are provided outstanding facility's and just about anything they want. The fan base is very educated and very supportive of a new coach for a few years. But the media is ruthless. I agree that Pelini had to go, he's a time bomb. We'll see how Mr. "Nice Guy" Mike Riley from Oregon State does with the corn. Everything I've read seems to be very positive.

    The Chargers owners and mgmt. refuse to meet with SD mayor and advisory committee on the plan to keep the Chargers here and instead are forging ahead with their plans to bail out to Carson.

    Rivers is now a 'lock' to finish his career as a Charger - where ever that may be.

    The fans are hopeful and in denial, some still clinging to the idea that the Bolts won't bolt...but I say good riddance.

    It'll be a weird season knowing that this may be the last season for the "San Diego" Chargers. Boos? Maybe.

    Not for the players but at a 'team' destined to pack it up and leave.

    The owners are thinking of a much broader market for a fan base being located further north.

    But I think it'll backfire for SD fans to want to drive that far to a shared stadium with the Raiders (???) - it may take some time for the 'break up' hate to fade, imho.

    Buh bye....

    H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

    Ugly first game for my Buckeyes tonight, but a win nonetheless. Go Bucks!! VT was able to take advantage of some big mistakes and make a game of it, for a while. Great way to to spend a Monday night though.

    Didn't get to see the game brotha' but statically 83.1 QBR rating and that's not bad with what we have behind the helm. 334yds receiving, only 98yds rushing but with our season outlook we could have done far worse.

    I'm not expecting much this season but I'll look at this game as the glass half full.
