The Chargers owners and mgmt. refuse to meet with SD mayor and advisory committee on the plan to keep the Chargers here and instead are forging ahead with their plans to bail out to Carson.
Rivers is now a 'lock' to finish his career as a Charger - where ever that may be.
The fans are hopeful and in denial, some still clinging to the idea that the Bolts won't bolt...but I say good riddance.
It'll be a weird season knowing that this may be the last season for the "San Diego" Chargers. Boos? Maybe.
Not for the players but at a 'team' destined to pack it up and leave.
The owners are thinking of a much broader market for a fan base being located further north.
But I think it'll backfire for SD fans to want to drive that far to a shared stadium with the Raiders (???) - it may take some time for the 'break up' hate to fade, imho.

Ugly first game for my Buckeyes tonight, but a win nonetheless. Go Bucks!! VT was able to take advantage of some big mistakes and make a game of it, for a while. Didn't get to see the game brotha' but statically 83.1 QBR rating and that's not bad with what we have behind the helm. 334yds receiving, only 98yds rushing but with our season outlook we could have done far worse.

The second half was__ better. I sincerely hope next week will be a big improvement. I think part of what got to me was that this was a home game and the fans were really expecting a Texans win.

My Bears started as expected, and finished as expected with Cutler throwing an interception late in the 4th.
Packers had way too many penalties for a team of their stature. The offense looked confused most the time aggravating A-ARON. Cutler simply does not have the touch on the ball as a good premier QB should.

Johnny played pretty well. I couple of mistakes that could have been costly, such as a fumble and throwing into double coverage when he had an open lane to run. Luckily neither of those turned into turnovers. Otherwise he made good decisions overall and managed the game. The fourth quarter TD pass to Rabbit was on a broken play and solidified the win. So great job there. Travis Benjamin (Rabbit) was the real star of the game with three TD receptions and on Punt return for a TD. Go Browns!!

Good to hear. I think that he's been criticized so much for being 'too quick to run' that sometimes he has excellent opportunities to run and doesn't take them.
