I'd like to see a picture of your backyard with you son's field camera! I take it that was him in the picture carrying one?
BTW, I like how I can see you twice in that pic of the Rolleiflex

That was him indeed -- he hasn't had it up here; maybe I can get him to lug it up at Christmastime (I don't think he feels like carrying it on to a plane).

Awesome, haven't seen one of those in years. I had one about 20 years ago and even back then people would ask me what it was. Unfortunately my wife was driving it when an idiot kid crossed the median and totaled it. Only had about 30K miles on it too, sigh.

You don't see many of them around anymore. Only 21,500 of them were made in four years of production (1988-1991). When I go to the Cars & Coffee meet in Knoxville that usually has 300-400 cars show up I have never seen another Reatta there. The number one comment I get about my Reatta is: "What is that?". It's fun to have a unique car but it would be nice to have some Reatta buddies close by to get together with from time to time.Awesome, haven't seen one of those in years. The Reatta was very high tech for it's time. It has three computers that control almost everything on the car. First car I know of that had a CRT display with a touch screen to control most of the electronic functions of the car. Radio, Climate control and on-board diagnostics are all controlled by touching the screen.

I don't know if your 4 watt tube amps are going to be powerful enough, I'll have to bring my 8 WPC ones

Gorgeous start to the holiday in NH today -- I was down in Deerfield at "NEAR-Fest" (near-fest.com:8084/nearfest/); leaves are pretty darned near peak color in the SE part of the state. Didn't take a camera (although, heh-heh-heh) I bought one...).
We're past peak up here by the Arctic Circle (leaves are comin' down) - but it is still very beautiful.

Foliage.......
STAY HOME NEW YORKERS!!!! Youve got your own trees to drive like jackarses around. No need to come east.Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
heh -- we went to a wedding Saturday in Maine (in the shadow of the Sunday River slopes, literally); the parking areas along the White Mtn National Forest were packed -- but the roads were OK and the foliage was beautiful.
I took a couple of grab shots as we drove through (Mrs. H was driving -- when we're in a hurry, she drives; she drives faster than I do) - but they ain't too great. I may still post one anon.
Suffice it to say, it is still pretty up here; but, yeah, the flatlander leaf-peepers drive us all nuts on the road! Route 128 on the Friday evening before Columbus Day is... well... best avoided by the aboriginal Massholes ;-)
