    Would just use them probably in my basement for music speakers. I could just get some 8t's from another guy for $50 or this set for $70. I guess I caught a bug and just want some more vintage polks:). One day would really like to score some sda. Probably the 1C

    First Guess: Polk ran out of pin/blade cables before they ran out of blade/blade cables; and when the blade/blade inventory is gone, there'll be no more because the component ends used to make the cable assembly were discontinued years ago.

    If there was sufficient demand, reproduction pieces could be made...I don't believe there's enough demand. Too many of us scrap the OEM connections in favor of binding posts or Neutrik connectors.

    Look nice but $600 is hard to get whether local or ebay even with "high" quality "Dayton" caps.

    Even at $600 ebay, subtract 15% for ebay and PP fees that comes down to $510 with risk of shipping damage, fear of buyer's complains etc...

    True, but as I am sure you have done, when it comes to CL list above what you "really" want so you can let the buyer beat you up and feel like "they" won, when in fact you still got what you expected...

    Yes but general consensus here is SDA-1C's are better than 15TL's and $600 is on the high side even for 1C's.
    Rarity is one thing but sound is what we are after.
    If someone is looking for them, good deal though.

    I've seen few 15TL's here in past few years and even at $390 (another pair was much less), they were kinda cold for weeks.
    Granted they were not pristine but were in pretty decent condition.
