I am finally letting go of my Polks. They are incredible speakers. Polk installed new speakers and crossovers in them about 15 years ago. They have been well taken care of. A couple dings on the back corners. Original patch cord . I will consider delivering to Florence, Charleston, Wilmington for 50.00. Call me with any questions. -

Curious about a couple other components. Dual TT's? Those are suppose to be really good aren't they? SAE Amps? I have heard of SAE but know nothing. Anyone care to derail the tread and educate me?

But there's my question. Don't know much about SDA's and this seems too good to be true. I can't keep up with all the SDA models. Are the SDA II a lower end iteration?

Thanks WMG. Would've never thought of just disconnecting the Dtweeter. Would disconnecting them change the impedance the crossover sees?
Anything else to check when I go look at them? Ad did not mention the SDA cable so don't know if he has it. Assuming all drivers work, even if they are a little beat, the price seems right correct? Of corse there's the pursuit of a common ground amp to power them. Until I get the proper amp I can power them w/ non common grd amp w/o using the SDA cable, correct?

They look pretty decent, just need a good cleaning. Disconnecting the tweeter will not affect the overall impedance. You will need a amp with common ground, and it must be able to handle 4 ohms or less safely. You can use them as a stereo pair, with a non-common groundOldSchoolPolk wrote: »Thanks WMG.
