Yes there was a pair of 1.2 with 2000 and the TL's added the 3000.2-channelBelles 22A Pre, Emotiva XPA-2 Gen 2, Marantz SA8005, Pro-Ject RPM-10 Turntable, Pro-Ject Phono Box DS3B, Polk Audio Legend L800's, AudioQuest Cable throughout.

The ebay pair sure look as if they have SL3000's in them, but the serial #'s are listed as 1.2 no TL -

Probably 1B rather than 1C. "Studio" style cabinets in black might be 1Cs, but in brown they're almost certainly 1Bs. -

Even though I'm married too, I drove from Iowa to Atlantic City to pick up my 1.2TL's for $1500 last month. I love the speakers- they were worth every inch of the trip and every dollar. Here's my unsolicited advice: don't just sit there and dream about owning these speakers- make it happen!! (No affiliation).

If they were closer, I'd probably have a 3rd pair of the big boys! :-D It's tough to tell the condition in the pictures, but seems like a fair deal. Those cross-over plates look a bit tarnished, but maybe that's just how they came out in the photo... -
