Complete newby here. Is there a reference document or summary document that gives an overview of these rings. I have a pair of Monitor 5B speakers. I am wondering how easy it is to install these, if the tweeter should be included and if I will easily hear the improvements.

just for future reference and informational sake..... if you order tweeter brackets for RTA 11T speakers, there is a cabinet brace directly below the bottom of the tweeter cutout, and the bracket will not fit, so an alternative must be used.
also, as a result i will have one set of tweeter brackets i will not be using if they may come in handy somewhere else.

Trim the bracket and /or the brace. These brackets were designed by Larry to be a universal application. There are very few polk speakers models that have been a 100% drop-in installation on the tweeter brackets. These brackets are worth the additional effort that it may take to install them. There is a post by DK showing the work involved in installing these brackets in a pair 1.2tl's. Good Luck.

You can also simply remove the round ends of the tweeter brackets and just use them instead of the entire piece.

thanks folks....and F1nut, larry had included some the individual stand-offs/inserts (not sure what people call them) for my PR's and binding post cups, so i used a couple of those to start with.
i didn't want to ruin the tweeter brackets just in case one pair might be useful to someone.

I was not aware that there is an official waiting list. I did put my request in on another post, but would be pleased to put it in here, as well, if this is a central clearinghouse.

I should like a set of rings for SDA SRS 2.3s, as they become available, please.

I too had posted on a different thread until I found this thread. Please contact me. I'm upgrading a pair of SDA1C's... and I might also have a pair of 2.3TL's to consider... yes an embarrassment of riches..

1 set of SDA-SRS-1.2TL, and a pair of 12" passive rings. This way I am covered no matter what SDA comes my way in the future.

These rings are indeed all that, and are the second-most important thing you can do for your speakers besides the cross-over mods. The awesome workmanship of Larry has become the stuff of legend here at CP.

Has Larry made any lately? Heard they were a one off project. I know I would buy a set for SDA SRS 1.2 today if they were indeed available.
