We, (in Paris, Tennessee) are just completing "The World's Biggest Fish Fry" week.... I don't recall any pies or cake from fish??

I could suggest it next year if it would attract visitors from here??:D

Check it out!! Ever been to a catfish race?? I think Nascar will still be okay.........................if this ever catches on......well,,,,, it could change the world. BTW, Emo did not sponsor a fish in the race:( (that could be the beginning of the end for them)

    Emotiva Sucks!!!!

My dog loves a well prepared steak. He also licks his ****, so he can hardly be considered a connoisseur, either.

So what were your other reasons for your Emo purchase? And has the problem been solved since the sex re-assignment surgery?:p

While listening to my system with the patio door open I saw this gihunormous lizard - looked like a baby crocodile to me - he's been hanging around my back yard....we named him Cedric.

He seemed to be crawling to the beat of the smooth jazz coming from my rig...just thought I'd make a tie in to something electronic related and add my bump to this thread.. :D

I have 7 channel surround sound in my pool. It seems I'm birthing frogs in there and they're mating like crazy. They croak all night into the day! No need for 'any' amplification!

The speakers are something you don't need, I assume cause you already have some. But, you do need a preamp right?

Yes, but all the 682 preamps they have sent me had some kind of flaw. And I am already broke due to paying for return shipping. I am thinking that maybe I can use the speakers to make a fire and warm me up? (Can't pay for heating because of the damn return shipping).

Ricardo, Are you an Emotiva VIP? Do you know Emotiva treats you as a hero for buying their stuff and keep returning them and keep getting the new ones?

I like my amp, and the sound still gives me a world class chubby.

<giggle> That alone makes me want to buy one! Hell, I might buy a full rack of the stuff! :p

I've never heard Emotiva so I can't comment to its quality.

I don't blame them for trying to market their product the best way they can. Is it misleading? I'm not going to judge that. Does it work? Obviously since they've generated a buzz on multiple forums.

What do you expect them to do? Put out lukewarm ads like this one?

    BAT products are impeccable.

They can make Emo whine like a cold baby left alone on the front porch.

They will chew up an Emo like a bulldog on a pork chop.

Go Large or Just Go Home.

RT1 note--No Emo owners were harmed by the bulldog, but a few were in fact left out in the cold, on the porch, howling like a bulldog.

How can you even think about comparing BAT with Emotiva ? I would never entertain that idea. BAT is recognized as a symbol of hi-end audio around the world among others such as Audio Research, Krell, Classe just to name a fews. LOL!!!!

Best bang for the buck, maybe. One step above mass low-end entry AVRs, maybe. Not even fair to compare the Emotiva with Para or Rotel.

Come one now . Be real, brother.

Someday, Emo PR will offer you some $$$ just to take that poster down or better yet you will receive a free amp & pre-amp from them for doing just that.

Are you then an Emo fanboy?:D

What do you mean John...I heard Obama is refitting the entire WH with Emo gear as a cost-cutting measure...it's so value-oriented it may help balance the budget!
