No offense to the Emo crowd above...that quote is a tongue and cheek statement. Of course I spent a lot of time listening and researching this purchase and asking a ton of questions. There are some amp gurus on this site who were incredibly helpful and informative.

And a lot of very happy Emo owners as well. At the very least this thread continues to grow.

I just love how people that have never actually heard the product jump on the bashing bandwagon. That's really lame. I know Kex and maybe just a few may have valid opinions. They have actually experienced the products (not the whole product line however). But the rest of the bashers are just spewing **** they have no actual knowledge of. I havn't tried their products either so I can't praise or bash.

No one I know who's contributed to this thread is 'stopping' anyone from auditioning any and all the equipment which has been discussed here. And I, myself have heard an XP-A2 as well as read reviews of that model. The Emotiva was on the table because of this thread.

You're right. Take a listen and decide. BTW some nice pieces above..I run an Denon AVR 2807 myself.

I would like to thank Ricardo and everyone else above for helping me decide which 2 channel power amp to purchase. I bypassed the Emu farm for an Adcom GFA-555 (N.Pass design). Add me to the no call list.

    That's an ok amp,slightly harsh but powerful,enjoy.

Well, I tried calling them. As soon as I started explaining to them that neither you or myself would be purchasing any products from them at any point, for any reason, they hung up on me.

Absolutely terrible customer service. My choice to not purchase any Emotiva gear continues.

That is complete ****....sorry manm but i cannot at all believe that. I mean seriously c'mon.

It would be nice if you understood the meaning of satire...especially since this entire thread is satire about EMO fanboys, EMO marketing and so forth....seriously.

I think mrbigbluelight is onto something. Maybe everytime someone posts a thread that goes like:

"I just ordered an EMU xxxx"...

whoever tries to read it gets Rickrolled. That would be cool.

I didn't read the whole thing only the first couple of pages and lol guys, please get a hold of yourselves.

Who cares if EMO overstates and mislead their customers or not, as long as they sound good to my ears compare to other blablah brands with a similar price, I'd be happy. Also, I just don't get the comparison of Porsche vs Stereo equipments... are you comparing the brand recognition? How many people who's not auto enthusiasts know Porsche and many non-audiophiles know Krell? Are you comparing the scope of engineering? It's not even close and while you can find speakers with a price that can fill a parking lot with Porsches. Stop arguing over price vs value, and stop comparing apples with oranges.
