    I'm well aware that doctors are using more alternative medicine, mine included, but they are not using homeopathy. You stated that homeopathy works, and it doesn't. Here is what I posted:

    I guess because you usually have some well thought out responses and data to back up your claims but I didn't see that yesterday, all I kept seeing was "It is BS."

    If I ever need to kill a few hours, I think I will search the forums for posts on power cables and speaker wire. It's taken me over an hour to read the previous 157 posts.

    I've thought about upgrading power cables for a while now. After reading this thread, more than anything it has made me want to try them out. Hell, if I don't hear a difference I return them. All I'm really out is the time spent experiencing them first hand. Thanks for the entertainment.

    By the way, regarding the fish oil questions, I've been taking Vitamin Shoppe fish oil caps for years. Great price and never have smelled like fish, no matter how much I sweat. But, every now and then I do burp up a little fishy smell.

    I take fish oil caps too but I get the enteric coated ones. They're more expensive but you don't burp up any fishies.

    Hmmmmm, there are some really interesting perceptions ("truths" as they put it) there in that Diakom posting. I especially like this part......

    "- Reality has less to do with nature, more with the mind (Psycho mumbling from crazy talkers). Linking reality to the mind (imagination) is the best way to program (or brainwash) the gullible by means of crazy words and fairy tales.

On the other hand, physics (audio technology) is reality that must be ultimately verifiable by real (accurate) sensory feelings, not by crazy brainwashed feelings.

    Even more crazy talks, crazy thinking:
    - Everyone perceives hearing differently therefore it is impossible to get the consistency and the repeatability of any one person’s hearing. (This statement is most irrational). It is not your taste that is under judgment; it is your consistent and repeatable choice of taste that is under test. You will be judged a liar if your taste turned out to be delusional.
    - Trust your ears. Buy what ever you perceived as good for you, no need to check reality.
    - Reality is fuzzy. It is what ever you feel. No need to communicate it accurately to others. This is your right to be brainwashed and the right of others to question your sanity. Lots of conflicts resulted from the lack of accurate communication such that crazy talks, crazy words, baiting, luring and gullibility went rampant. Again, it is obvious that crazy talks and gullibility are the causes of conflicts, waste and misery. Please, demand accurate communication for true reality."

    My argument to this would be that it's your mind that determines what is real based on what you percieve as reality. One person's mind may not be willing to observe what another person's mind is able to. So, if one person is not able or willing to observe something then their reality is not your reality. That is what the whole debate is about, right? You cannot prove to anyone what they can't observe for themselves, until they actually observe it. Now, that does NOT mean that an ACTUAL reality does not exist. It's just a matter of being able or willing to observe it. If one person observes something and the other does not, then the person that cannot observe whatever it is thinks the person that can is crazy.

    Nature is what defines reality in a true sense. Nature does not have the time or the resources to try and redefine reality as people do. Actually, people don't have the time or resources either but, that's the ability we have been given, to make that choice. Things such as animals don't have that choice, they are simply living at their full potential at all times because they were designed that way. They don't waste time worrying about what they are going to eat next, they just search out the food and eat it. If the food is not there to eat, they don't eat and die. Period. The goal is that we all get to the actual reality and not a skewed one that our mind invents. I leave it up to everyone as individuals to decide if they are observing reality or what they think is reality.

    ok - I can't bring myself to read all 5 pages of this thread. I have a signal cable power cord that I am willing to send to any club polk member (who is not on my ignore list :)) with more than 50 posts....

    Only requirements are that you give it a shot and see if you like it, post a review (as short as thumbs up or down is fine) and then after a week or two - send it to the next person on the list.

    Reading reviews is one thing, but this is a chance for you to try it out in your system with your own ears at the cost of shipping it to the next person. (I will pay to ship to the first person)
