    Well said.

How come I don't see your name on the thread where the OP is offering FREE use of his power cords for a couple of weeks. Can't be that you are afraid you'll have to eat your words is it? Or maybe you just want to stay in the same stuck place.

Look, if you want proof? Get your **** either to my house or attend Carverfest this year. I don't want to hear any excuses this time. Just get your **** there or STFU.

You're the one making excuses. Why does anyone need to travel, and waste their time, just to listen to you make unverified claims on the sound of cables? How will that change anything?

Raife has provided plenty of scientific proof, you just choose to ignore it or call it voo doo science. BTW IIRC he has been published.

All he provided were measurements. Those measurements show results that are well below the human threshold of hearing. I don't ignore it, it just doesn't prove anything. I don't understand why that's so hard for you to get.

It's really a shame that you can't come up with anything to support your beliefs, and can only resort to name calling.

Ummm you haven't provided one shred of evidence to the contrary. I read all your links and already gave you my assessment of them.

That's because you have a closed mind, and ignore anything that casts doubt on your beliefs. Too bad you can't actually counter it with evidence of cable differences, then you might have something.

LOL! Closed mind? I spent hours reading everyone of those links thoroughly. I already stated my impressions. I'm no longer communicating with a brick wall. Carry on.

But that is precisely what the AVA 'object'ivists demand...and yet when provided...is insufficient...dismissed...rejected....

To me that is closed minded pendandic circular illogic...you loose...Bob...please tell our player what they get for playing....."nothing"!!!

WilliamM2 actually makes me yearn for the BobT, "spearker" cable days. At least then, we had a half **** unintelligent discussion. That's sad.

    Real sad.

Why didn't you quote the whole post? I didn't dismiss it, the results are below the threshold of audibility, they actually support the case for no audible difference.

this was a good (long) read, and well worth it. entertaining and informative. knowledge is power and I just learned something new. It supports the case for a lower noise floor even an amateur could pick that up.

Right on. But you won't change their minds since they believe that they do hear a difference.
It's all in the mind. How about Dat!

Atleast William has tried different cables in his rig so his arguement holds more water than just a troll like you who hasn't and just parrots what he reads. Yeah you are right, it's all in your mind never from experience with your ears.

What psychic ability do you have to know what I've listened to and for how long? These arguments have been debated and discussed for as long as I can remember. My physics teacher debunked it for me years ago. There are still two strong sides to it.
It is the classic subjective vs objective argument. You lose the argument though when you resort to personal attacks. Archie B. called Mike "Meathead" and Edith "Dingbat". Like Archie, you resort to childish name calling with "troll". Case closed. Have a fine day.
It is awesome here in New Orleans, as we are the champions my friend!

You've been asked many, many times and have balked! That doesn't take psychic abilities. No, I haven't lost the debate, you are a troll that really does just stir the pot. I gave you more credit than you deserved in a previous post but I see now that you just parrot what you've read and ride the coat tails of other objectionists.

BTW the Saints football team won the championship not the fans. I don't remember seeing you on the field taking your lumps.

Nobody knows. Go to the Two Channel category, and answer the question in the Cable Data thread. Provide the data as to what speaker cables you have used to reach the conclusion that "Cables make no difference." Nothing more, nothing less.

I hope with just 41 posts that the original poster (squeeb) doesn't just cut and run after seeing the less than energizing w2, mood, xcap, etc. posts.

I've gotten a great deal of enjoyment patiently burning in and auditioning almost a dozen power cables this past year. I can share that I 've been rewarded with marginal to outstanding improvements, but have never gone back to and stayed with any of the originally supplied cables.

No, when I'm wrong I admit it. I always weigh the facts and draw conclusions from them. One fact that I know is ALWAYS RIGHT is experience trumps all the reading in the world.

Case in point. You get a BS from school in computer science or electronic engineering. Without going out and experiencing in the working world what you were taught you are completely clueless as to the real world situations that present themselves. All the education in world counts for nothing without experience unless of course you are going to be a professor of some type then you are just passing on theories based on book knoweldge.

Be happy, you just learned something.:)

If you actually knew to what capacity your eyes lie to you on a second by second basis you would definitely stop and question what your ears are doing.
