I've had this theory for a long time that cable naysayers are probably liberals who are afraid someone might try to defraud them. I vote windbag anyway.

I don't know. Seems they would be more willing to try stuff. I'm thinking it may not be related to being liberal. I know I basically have a conservative approach to life in general, but love to buy/test/test/test/sell audio gear.VTL ST50 w/mods / RCA6L6GC / TlfnknECC801S

Roger Russell sure is a master of playing both sides though, with the strong statements that wires don't matter and then the hype that he uses Cardas his monstrosity speakers. That disingenuous playing of both sides, well . . . . it does seem to be a bit like politics.VTL ST50 w/mods / RCA6L6GC / TlfnknECC801S

REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -

Not here there isn't because a large number of us have actually tried different cables....something you have never done, which makes you and your opinions null and void.Political Correctness'.........defined

I'll bet it would skew the results to about 99% windbag.
I'm guessing based upon the way it's been playing out, TROLLS / ACORN are registering accounts with 1 post and voting genius.

Ill be the first to admit, Im the weakest link in my system. What sounds good to me may sound like crap to an audiophile. I cant afford big name cables at this point but I can say that upgrading from crappy spearker wire to 14ga monoprice made a huge difference for me.
