    1. Why using the TV as old as you and lifting the TV with risers helps picture quality?
We were planning on getting a TV last year but then the economy tanked, business fell to an all time low, we had an extremely hard time collecting, the wife was laid off and we found out she was pregnant [which is how I lost my audio room....had to make room for Aiden]. Needless to say, our funds were tied up. The risers are there to protect the sub that's disconnected right now. The TV did not come with felt pads and I didn't want to scratch the sub. Plus, it's easier to slide around.

    2. Why do you put the speakers so close to the TV (sub) and the rack?
Space limitations. Though the room may seem large in the pictures, we live in a townhouse and the room available for the rig is quite limited. What you see is the best compromise wee have found.

Now be a good boy and pull them a couple feet into the room.
See, that's where I'm screwed. The speakers are already 10" from the back wall and 8.5' from the listening position that can not be pushed back any further. I'm not too worried. I'll have me a dedicated audio room custom built for my audio needs in the next house we own. For now, this will have to do.

If it were me? I'd lose the TV in a heartbeat and get my CD collection hung up above the sub for easy access but for some strange reason, the wife wants a TV in the living room. Go figure?

Well, I've made a few changes and added the second Anthem1 amp into the mix. Holy Moly!

As McDonald's says? I'm LOVIN' it!

The purity, the frequencies, the cleanliness, the subtleties, the imaging, the power, impact and all other aspects when the amps are warmed up are simply stellar. I'm deep in the Rabbit hole and still digging but I don't know how much more I can dig without getting a dedicated audio room. All I can say is that I'm pleased beyond my wildest expectations.

Dire Straights has never performed the way they currently are. :D

Well, I just realized that after all of this time....I have not offered a review of these speakers. I figured since the speakers will no longer be stock and I have definitely had the time to tweak the rig and upgrade things that I would finally get around to a review. If anybody is even interested that is...

A full and unadulterated review is forthcoming. Please allow me a couple of days as this one will be the most thorough review ever done by me. It will include the good, the bad and the ugly and it will address not only the good points but the bad as well. Only honest observations will be offered and this will be written with no reservations whatsoever. I'm already a page and a half into the review.

    Stay tuned...
