WOW! Some of those screen shots look like I can reach through my monitor and touch each object. I can see now where being a videophile could have the payoffs with picture and sound.

Very nice Dave. That setup came out great bro. Nothing else to be said, glad you made the move to FP bro. 120" screen is plenty big. I've been playing Shank and the soundtrack is awesome over the Pio. Congrats again, nice gear selection and that VTI definitely takes it above another notch with class. You maybe able to find a used PB13 or plus on the 'gon when you decide on the new sub Dave. The lady is going to love this.

My setup remains the same gents. The only new toy I added was a Squeezebox Touch. I put a new Sony 32" Bravia with a Panny BD65 in the home office, so I'm done for awhile.

Thanks, I'll probably pick up a new sub from there (or here) over the winter. Its definitely been my weak point and also my last piece I need to complete everything.

In that room of yours I would definitely run an electric screen and PJ. You in college so if you have a entry budget check out the Optoma HD20 and a focupix electric screen. All for the price of 1K or less and your in there for the larger picture.

I didn't have my projector mounted for the longest time. The lady and I finally got around to doing that tonight. Since we're not going to stay in this house long term, we decided to forgo installing an outlet in the attic space above the living room and running the wires up there. Instead, we went with some moulding along to ceiling and down the corner of a wall, which I think turned out really nice and will make it very easy on us when we move.

We put in room darkening blinds (Eclipse, they're amazing) on four of the windows, but still need to cover up the 'port hole' over the front door. That will be done tomorrow. These curtains block out all of the light.

Please forgive the cell phone pictures. They don't do the on-screen picture quality any justice:

    120" Elite Screen.

Still need to upgrade my subwoofer and redo my wiring. Other than that, I'm done for now.

    Wow, just wow.

I think projectors prices have come down enough for me to jump in sometime later on.

Great pictures guys!!! Great movies to showcase them too. You made me want to go out and watch them over again on my measly 50" plasma..

When I clean up my man-cave some more, a screen and projector will be mounted and my 4 real theater seats( old style unfortunately ) will be incorporated somehow. It was a bank of 4 but I split them into 2 pairs. They were used on a "one tree hill" theater episode. Beautiful fabric on em too.

Man those pics were beautiful!!! just like at a real theater.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Thank you. I agree that it does look very nice mounted and I wish I would have done it sooner. Just as well, though, since I haven't been watching many movies or gaming lately. The regular TV was able to sustain me when I felt the need.

We're pulling out the carpeting and putting down hardwoods, getting new furniture, and adding a new sub (or two?). Too many other projects going on right now to know when it will all be done.

Couldn't agree more. I haven't watched a movie in ages. Nor have I played 360.

This does save on the life of the bulb, so it's all good.

Most of the movies lately have just been crap. I'm not sure if that's why I haven't been watching much or if other stuff has just taken priority. Probably the latter, since I don't watch much TV nowadays either other than baseball.

I have been catching up on all the games on my A/V rack that I haven't finished, though, when the lady is working late.

Same here bro, haven't been in the HT much for movies bro. As of late I have been watching on the plasma setup, 58" panasonic model. I'm sure Star Wars will give me enough reason to fire things up again though.
