If not, I like to remind you that you are taking a crap in the Public Forum. ;)

Shine on your Crazy Diamond Vader, RT1 is filled with Tube Power and Tubes Rule the Universe while you are made of so much silly sand, tubes do however tend to melt the igloo's in Yellowknife which is a contingency we need to plan for at the party.

Respect belongs to those who deserve it, Ignore the people who bring nothing to the table and keep in mind that we should all be very careful of what we wish for ;) we are given quite a bit of latitude as far as the bending of the rules is concerned and if they tighten up the enforcement of the rules it will make Club Polk a much less interesting Audio forum....WCW III

What needs to be taken care of quicker? The occasional spam thread?

Let's not make this place like AK.
Take your pick the spam, the trolls, the person trying to sell outside of the fleamarket etc.

And no I dont think this place should turn into AK. For the most part it is a fun free spirited place to hang out learn about new things audio and otherwise. As I said earlier not change the style or type of moderation just have more people on to deal with it is all.

I am prety sure Doro Russ and Patrick would like a break once in a while and to be honest it wouldndt be easy to scan all the different sections here even with 3 people for potential problems much easier to do if it is divided up into sections that individual mods are responsible for and to be honest I think it would be beneficial to have people that both have the expertise and passion in certain areas as mods for those areas.

Just my 2 cents from both having been a member of many forums and from having been a moderator myself on other forums.

The end result is this.. it is Polks forum and all we can do is offer up ideas suggestions they will if they feel like it make changes if not they wont.

Tom - Troy and I hashed all that out ages ago and it had ZERO to do with you and ZERO to do with editing posts. I'm not here to win a popularity contest and if I lose your respect, I'll have to find some way to deal with that in private I guess. I'm sure Perghaps thru intensive therapy and medication. Just because the Red Hat Club doesn't always get their way doesn't mean you aren't respected or that you're not listened to behind the scenes. You think you know more than you do and as far as newbies go....you're as much of a newbie to me as the next guy. Whatever, carry on, fly into a blind rage, kick a dog or punch your children....I don't have any more control over your life than you over mine.

Amen, if you can't disagree and tell your friends to eff off once in awhile...then they probably aren't that great of a friend to start with.

This thread here is a perfect example of needing more mods to handle different areas. Its simply not easy being all places all the time. its been there two days now.
