Thanks, it truly is an awesome mix of good looks, performance, and value.
I acknowledge that it is not the end-all be-all sub and there are others that dig deeper, go louder, and some even look prettier. But for me it is a perfect fit (until I have room/permission for a second....)

Very nice pics bro. Like Leroy, wanting to try out duals in my own HT. I'm going to list my Plus 2s for sale and see what I come up with.

Thanks, I had a look at your HT pics, if you got ultras would you go for the box or cylinder? I'm thinking with your current sub locations, cylinders may work quite well (and they are a little cheaper)

You got that right (I'm surprised you noticed the port plug behind Sam). I've experimented with 20hz, 15hz, and sealed. In my room my ears like 15hz the best. Personally I found sealed to be have a noticable decrease in impact.

I noticed because I run my Ultra-13 in the 15hz mode:)
I find that in my room the 15hz goes lower with lots of impact.

It was really good, but the best I have heard yet is the incredible hulk.
The new call of duty video game is also bass crazy. It really shakes the room during explosions. It's right up there with the hulk movie for showing off the ultra.

Yeah Hulk is a great BASS movie. Have you seen Colverfield. Of the blu-rays I've seen, I think it is the current King of Bass movies.

I have never tried my Ultra with Music as the 1Cs don't need it but I imagine it would take some work to blend well which probably would not be right for HT then.

Not on 2ch, but Music DVD-Blu-Ray-DTS concerts, it seems to blend
    very well on 5.1 music:)

I also have never tried PB13U in stereo rigs since I have no need for an external sub in my two channels rigs.

But in the HT room where the PB13Us are, the DVD-A music it sounds excellent and chest pounding! Try Eagles' Hotel California in 5.1 with PB13U.
Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:

SACD sounds good too. I like Queen ANATO DVD-A.

HBO had a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night and since I typically do mot listen to multi-channel music I was surprised how well behave the PB13 was.

That's cool. So honestly, do you ever use either one?
I have the metal grill which I thought I would use all the time, but after day two of my ownership I took it off and never looked back.

It does have good music quality for a big subwoofer on 5.1 playback.

I ordered 2 of these. Got one last week, and another is on the truck for delivery today. I will post pics soon. I am planning on stacking them. They are an amazing value, and I think they look and sound awesome, not to mention their customer service is the best around.
