I thought Factorfiction was a new form of AUDIO mathematics...where you divide the thickness, quality and cost of cables by the wax that has not yet been removed from your ears and you get a number on an audiobility algorithmic index that is the inverse proportion of the wires' length and the lack of grey matter between your ears. This number is then 'verified' by what I call Double blocked studies...(meaning that you can't hear anything from either ear because they're both blocked).

    No..?

Random, but I figured this simple question wasn't worth starting a whole new thread..anyone have experience with Dayton speaker wire? I came across this, and considering its sold by parts express, I figured some people on here might have experience with it. Anyone used Dayton cable before?

You missed out by a couple days, that AR stuff i recommended is no longer available. :( It was cheaper, too.

Ah crap, I had completely forgotten about it...I didn't want to get it before because I needed 2 runs due to the PSW10, but since I am running the Monitor 5jr's with no sub one pair terminated would have worked fine...damn, maybe they (or something similar) will come back soon.

I'll see if i can find them somewhere else for you. How soon are you looking to buy something? I should be getting the rest of my ICs back in the next couple days, and depending on how everything sounds, i may be thinking of going with some higher end speaker cables, and i'd be looking to pass mine along.

Ehhh... they aren't around anymore at that price. They're back up around $100 give or take $10. :(

If i find something i want to try, they're yours for $40 shipped.

Those Daytons look like they'd at least be worth the $50, though, unless someone else here can offer you something better used. I doubt you'll be disappointed for your money. :)

That's very generous of you; I will definitely consider this if you do decide to sell them. Get back to me when you decide either way.

Still want to know if anyone has any experience with the Dayton cable though. $32.77 for a pair of banana terminated cables is something I would be willing to try if they're not garbage.

Yeah, that plus about $5 for shipping. Thing is, if the AR cables you have are better cables, I'd rather wait and see if you decide to keep them or not as opposed to settling for the Daytons, hence why I was hoping someone here had experience with them. If you say the AR's are good cables, I'll take your word for it.
