and after owning the stuff and listening to it...ummm...I'm not sad to let it go....nope...

maybe we should just start our own company and attach blue or green LED lights to everything like fisher price speakers for gradeschoolers and increase the cost by like 300% and claim its reference material....oh wait they already did that...my bad.

like for realz i text u like forever like, duh, like how didnt u no that...

and why not have a thread 43 pages long, I owned the stuff, and still have some stuff, I'm just sick of the people that claim its the best there ever was, will be, and compare it to krell and other brands like that, which they probably have never heard and then have to complain all the time when someone buys a different amp...

yeah its pretty annoying, sorry. as for their gear, its OK but as I said, I'm not sad to let it go, still got 2 mono blocks I'll be selling probably soon so I can get some better monos just not sure what I'm getting next hmmm.....

and honestly I never put up a christmas tree, I just put an angel on top of my amps, except it go to hot and started her on fire, hmm guess she must of went to hell...

I bash people who own Emo amps and will soon own two XPA-1 amps. Most Emo owners are dip **** and in dire need of perspective. Emo is not reference quality gear, but it does sound good in many applications . . . especially my home theater.

PS Adcom sucks balls and anything less than HALO from Parasound can kiss my ****.

in the end,who cares what brand others buy...as long as him/her is happy, leave it alone

i cant afford, nor feel the need to get $3000+amps,but i dont knock others who can/do.......

I don't knock them for not being able to afford better gear. You'd be missing the point if you thought that. I knock people who think no other gear is better. And I especially berate the individuals who start arguments after reading constructive and informative criticism of Emo gear.

I know. I wasn't sure if I had tossed in my own stupid senseless comments. I'd hate to miss an opportunity to contribute.

How are your Wyred4Sound components treating you these days? Let's add that brand to this mix as well. They're another great company worth hazing.

They rip off everyone they sell an amp to if they are walking away believing that Emo amps are the be-all end-all of the audio world.

We aren't flaming the brand, per se...

It's the people who are using them as their first entry level gear, and then come on here and spew everywhere that they're the best gear on the face of the planet. It isn't. They don't understand that, but insist on giving them "the win" over gear they've never even heard.

It's completely ruined the brand for some people, including people who did own it. Talk to cstmar01 if you'd like. He's sold his gear simply because of the attitudes of other Emo owners.

I own the stuff that is right. Bought it, thought I might try it out. I'm joking a lot in the threads as thats what I do. Honestly though the way some of the fan bois say crap annoys me soo much. I honestly am embarrassed sometimes to even say I have it because of how they act. The stuff is ENTRY LEVEL. I was just starting out and tried it, found I didn't really care for it all that much. Honestly it works, and what not, but I found that a lot of the "claims" that emo owners have are not true. example
    1. I have a fan on my mono blocks (XPA-1) because I found they get very hot still even after 1 movie or about an hour of listening, and I'm not listening that loud, trust me, the meters never even move.
    2. I think they lack detail that everyone claimed they have. Yes I have more volume but its just that volume. Not detail.
    3. Its too in your face I'm gonna bash your head in with a shovel type of sound that I would rather pass on. For HT yeah its fine, dont' care, for music, eh I want something more netural and give a warmer sound like the tube amps I used to use when I was playing upright and eletric bass. The old fender amps we used in our jazz band was a great one.
    4. A lot of people seem to focus on the WATTS issue, its not just watts its the quailty of them. Give me 100 good ones over 500 crappy ones.
    5. yeah fine they have good prices, and so does some good used gear by rotel, adcom, pass labs, mcintosh, parasound, and what not that I would also like to try out and see if any good.

So if I post something saying I don't like it, well there's my back up. I'm newer to this whole audio thing, but do spend most of my time in front of my computer which sits in front of my set up (gf's laptop) listening to music. and want to enjoy it the best way possible.
I still have the XPA-1s but they will go, just gotta find some time to get them ready to go out and find what I want to replace them with. Also I hate the attiudes and it help drive me to sell as concelor said. seriously they are terrible and I won't go back.
