I don't see any reason you'd change your mind given the information that we have. At this point, the investigation has been closed and they're saying the wounds are consistent with a minor crash and they've issued Tiger a $160 careless driving violation.

It doesn't look like there was any domestic abuse involved, and everyone involved is denying any rumors of an affair.

I'm not saying that he's perfect and that the idea of an affair is inconceivable, but I'm thinking that this time the gossip hungry tabloid media may have put their foot in their collective mouth. There just seems to be absolutely no credible evidence to back up the rumors and i just don't see it happening.

What, you mean news sites overseas, or the tabloids here, might post stories acusing a high profile celeb having an affair? Whodathunkit????

I've heard the way he talks about his kids and seen how he acts around his family - unless he's the best actor in the world those are not the actions of someone having an affair with their wife.

Again, that's my opinion, but at this point I have absolutely no reason to believe otherwise.

If he had an affair it certainly brings him down a peg or two. One thing I'll say about the situation at hand is that he's been a moron in how he's handled it. I hope he's wised up and fired his PR firm because they didn't follow any of the rules of PR, namely getting in front of all of this.

The statement on his website is pitiful.

Hope it doesn't screw with his career, because he's otherwise got a lot left in the tank.

His statement and how he's handled this situation is consistent with how he's always handled the media. He's always been very private, and generally doesn't give a f#$k what other people think, this situation is being handled no differently.

Also, he doesn't OWE us an explanation, like everyone seems to think he does. He did deny the rumors that are circulating (I assume this covers the affair and the acused domestic abuse) - that's good enough for me.

I don't need him to come out and tell me EXACTLY what happened, because it's none of my business.

People keep saying "If it wasn't that bad he'd just come right out and tell us what's going on". Un, no he wouldn't. Obviously YOU haven't been watching the same Tiger Woods for the past 10 years that the rest of us have. This shroud of secrecy and the general attitude that "my private life is going to stay that way" didn't just start overnight, he's ALWAYS been that way.

Having seen his wife, if he had an affair, it just proves the old adage : you show me the hottest girl in the world, and i'll show you someone who's sick of her ****.

I think that everyone should just leave him alone and let him and his family deal with his issues. Obviously he has issues staying Faithful and that is not a good thing, but this is his family's issues to deal with, and one that a lot of families have to deal with, and if he wants to keep it out of the public eye then he as every right.

It'll be interesting to see how Elin handles this but based on Tigers VM, if true, she has already has suspicions anyway and has stuck by him. Which leads me to believe that she were to decide to leave him now that its public knowledge, she'll probably do that as privately and quietly as possible as well.

I gotta give him kudo's for at least having affairs with fairly hot women (of course assuming the rumors have some shred of truth). The lesson here seems to be "don't PO the swedish babes"! He just needs some better PR people as mentioned, a good celebrity divorce lawyer on speed dial, and this will all go away.

    HA! I KNEW IT!

    633692590200000000

That's the Jaime Grubbs chick he was supposedly doinking, she was on the second season of "Tool Academy" with this dude:

    josh.jpg

    Josh and Jamie

Jamie & Josh are both 25 and live together in Las Vegas, NV. Jamie is a hair stylist and Josh works at a spa. Josh's defining characteristics are a giant ego, an inflated sense of his own awesomeness, and elaborately highlighted spiked hair. Josh is a total control freak. It is "his way or the highway" where Jamie is concerned. After four years together, Jamie is ready to choose 'The highway' unless the Tool Academy can tame her

Oh, yeah, and bobman, I don't think his wife is all that spectacular. She's certainly attractive just doesn't have that "it" thing to me. As far as the chick he's supposedly had an affair with, yeah, she has attention **** written all over her and that is a major red flag in turn-off land. So no, don't find either of them all that attractive.

Then again, Tiger is a pretty goofy lookin' dude and his "professional sport" is not exactly the "top echelons" like football or basketball so i would imagine that in the realm of the beautiful people and trophy wives, that limits the heights he can achieve.

    LOL!

Jokes aside, I'm not sure I would ever forgive myself for having an affair while my wife was seven to eight months pregnant. A one time mistake is one thing, but repeated meetings are another. That is just a total lack of loyalty in my book and there really is no adequate excuse. That's the time when your wife needs the most help and support you could possibly offer. Maybe I'm just too old fashioned, or my pen!s is too small and flabby.

I hope they can work it out and get on with their lives.

The problem is that by not being up front he's making it worse for himself (although it seems he's opening up a bit more as of today). I'm not insinuating that it's not his right to do that. He can do whatever he wants in how he handles his PR. Just know that how he's handled this is moronic up until today. He's Tiger Woods, not any of us. PR is a big deal for endorsement potential and everything else. Contrary to popular belief, rich people still like making money.

So he dipped his **** into some forbidden fruit. He isn't the first person or celebrity to do that and he won't be the last. He'd have looked far better just admitting it right away and getting it behind him than slinking away like the sissy **** he had been claiming "privacy."

He owes me nothing. I just think he handled it like a little girl.

Oh, and I guess I'll be one of the anonymous ones who doesn't find his wife attractive. I'm not saying I'd turn her down for a romp in the hay, but I'm not really a fan of blondes and she doesn't look any hotter than the trim at the local bar when she's not all gussied up for the cameras.

This is why people like tiger SHOULD NOT BE MARRIED. I don't care how many people he boinks. In fact, I'm a little disappointed it was only a few. Rich/successful/famous men should and do have more options than normal folks and therefore shouldn't box themselves in with the antiquated practice of marriage. It only leads to disaster. It cost KOBE $4 million just for the "I'm sorry ring". That is pathetic.

Getting laid shouldn't be that complicated or expensive.

I hope he learns from this and gets a divorce so he can womanize to his heart's content without having to worry about what people think.

Well, I was hoping it wasn't true, just goes to show how you really can't base an opinion of someone off what you see them do and say, especially in the public eye. Setting aside his temper on the course, I've never really seen anything to paint him in a negative light, this surely changes things.

Do I lose some respect for him as a person? Sure, how do you NOT? I realize it's easy for me to say I'd never do that given the fact that I don't have women crawling all over me, but I have to believe I'd stand firm were I in his shoes and not give in. I believe it was Chris Rock who said "You're only as faithful as your options" - I suppose there's some truth to that.

I know there's alot of pressure on the guy, but there's no excuse for his actions.

Having said all that, I don't lose ALL respect for him as a person given this. He's done quite a bit for the community, the military and kids via his TWLC. I think he's built up alot of goodwill over the years, and I think that can go a long way for him. Then again, that could work against him because alot of people find it hard to believe and there's the 'shock' factor.

I wonder how his sponsors are going to react? I don't think Nike dropped Jordan or Bryant after their similar situations, but Tiger is a different animal (pun intended), as he has a much different image than the other guys. I'd be surprised if they dropped him because there's so much money involved and he IS their golf line, but I suppose I've seen stranger things.

I'll probably still root for the guy at golf tournaments, but that's just it, he's just another guy out there at this point. I grew up watching him play and viewed him as a role model, I suppose I'll have a new viewpoint going forward now.

Needless to say, I'm very dissapointed...

    Wow!

So rich/successful/famous men can't have any self respect? I'm no prude, trust me, but stick men make me want to puke just as much as the little whores out there who think guys respect a girl who will bang guys willy nilly because they don't have anything else to offer them.

To be sure, doesn't sound like Tiger is a habitual cheater, but what do I know? Sounds to me like the man made a mistake. I'd think better of him had he not made up some cockamamie story to cover the cause of his car accident.

I agree with you on one thing....if you're going to be a cheater, don't commit to one woman.

Self respect is just that, I don't need your respect to respect myself. Just because I choose to have options, doesn't mean I don't respect myself. I have been happily divorced for 25 years. I have had three, 5-plus year relationships in that time that didn't work out in the end. When they ended, I got to keep my houses and my money (and these women got to keep theirs). 50% of all relationships end in divorce and then someone has to pay alimony (read "****-mony"). No thanks.

And BTW, you can't be a cheater if you don't make the mistake of committing to one woman.

If you're being a ****, male or female, you don't have much self respect for your body or your own emotions. However you swing, all the **** or dick in the world isn't going to make you happy. Just because you haven't found anyone who will love you as much as you'd love them for the rest of your lives doesn't mean the practice of marriage is antiquated. I'm not married either, so I'm in the same boat of not having found a person like that, but I'm not out slumming for snatch all the time. Not to say I haven't ever had a fling, though. ;)

Ultimately, I like there to be a little bit of meaning in the relationships I choose to get involved in.

Being unmarried doesn't mean you have to be a ****, but I was reacting to what you said about being disappointed he didn't bang more chicks.

I don't know, I found it sad, but it seems you're jaded about women. I can understand that. We've all been there.

I lose respect for people like Tiger when they are caught and they get all remorseful and release statements that say they "regret with all of their heart" what happened. Who wrote that horse slop and pig vomit for him? BS, was he regretful and embarrassed for his family BEFORE he was found out? He's just another coddled weasel that is incapable of manning up when the going gets tough!

um... if he was Joe blow who would care. My biggest problem is people pay him too much to watch him play golf. Yeah he might be an awesome player, but just like any other major sport he makes too much to"PLAY" and that is why he is in the public eye. If it was me, would anyone care. So I guess my thoughts on it are I really don't care that a person who is over payed to play screwed up. I mean come on I think sports stars should be one of the lowest paying job, you are having fun. Make the owners pay for the "shipping" around of these players, and equipment needed. These guys make more than doctors who are here to take care of us. While the others are here to entertain us. What a messed up sense of worth of people we have.

I don't, I just thought it was funny that the dude has a supermodel wife and goes slumming with some reality show reject.

Kinda like Hugh Grant and Divine Brown.

Thee only way this could be more amusing is if the chick was a tranny and he didn't know it was a tranny. Now THAT would be gold, Jerry, GOLD!
