:D You are too funny!! The LSi's are really the only big highlight of my audio equipment, and even that is questionable with some of the gear you guys have.

I'm hearing hear voices..... Joey, Joey, Joey, Joey...:D

I love home brew...I don't know $hit on names/types but I have a friend that does it and I like all of them; there was one that had a great taste....does wheat beer ring any bells? I think that's what it was....

I think we should change the name to the Midwest Polkfest or the Chicagoland Polkfest. This is a Polkfest, no? No way to confuse it with Antny's PF '07. We're in the middle of the country and he's on the east coast!

Anywho, here's the updated head count @ 15 ish:

Since there is some air clearing going on, I'd like to apologize to Demi. Sorry Demi. :o I went berserk a few weeks ago after something he posted triggered strong feelings from my past. At the time I blamed him, then postpartum Polkfest depression, election stress, a flu which is kicking my keister, then finally realized it was my problem. I took Jesse's advice from awhile ago, that if you're not having fun here - you're in the wrong place. I took a breather and missed this place but feel refreshed.

Back to the fest... who's bringing some Polk car gear?
    a_mattison wrote:
Ok the important stuff.... My other favorites are stout, european style bock, belgian white, and nut brown ale. If any of those sound good, let me know. Otherwise, I'll take requests and then pick one.

European style bock is required. Do you add citrus to your Belgian white? The stout and nut brown ale are always good. Bring them all. Nobody leaves until they are all finished. :D

Or.... might be.... Nobody leaves because they are all finished.

I'm a big fan of the bock too. I use a corriander and orange peel in the boil for the Belgian white.

Or if you do...............don't tell us about it :D . I had the pleasure of sampling his Bock beer when I visited and none of you will be disappointed. Also Aaron I'll just stick a copy of that demo cd I made in the mail to you. With the holiday fast apporaching I doubt we'll get together anytime soon. The stands for the 9's are on the way and once I get them dialed in you can come over and hear them.

a_mattison - My favorite beer is Hacker-Pschorr Weisse with a lemon wedge. I'm not a huge drinker so you don't have to make anything to suit me. All that brewing stuff sounds

I'm thinking if it's alright with you guys (and more importantly, the host of this shindig), I'd like to throw a 50/50ish hat in the ring on this one:)
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Are you going to be attending? I had the same thought when we first started this thing. I'm sure we can "pass the hat" around.

Yeah... I'd like to. I shot a PM to Mike asking for his approval. I know space is getting tight and I'm sure it's bound to get tighter. I was actually going to work this in with a visit to some of my best friends who also live in Chicago, so lodging might not even be an issue.

Besides, I'm sure H9 would love to get reaquainted with the Monarchy:)

I'd like to get a gear list together and I've only heard from one person so far. Please send your gear list to peersool at hotmail.com. Please don't send it a pm.

Even if you already posted your stuff in this thread or sent me a pm please submit it an email to me. It's the only easy way for me to keep track.

    Thanks :)

Even better. That's 388.51 miles. If I average 120mph in the ThugStang, I can get there in 3hrs 23minutes. :)

I drove over 700 miles to go to PFest ala BDT. It was worth it, imo, even if just to meet some of the people we are so involved with on a daily basis. I might not have averaged 120, but I'd say I averaged over 80 and that was thru mountains, in a 4x4 truck.

Any plans for Friday's dinner? Should we meet at a nearby diner or do we BBQ? After travelling I like a good meal. :)
