My son sent me this picture, after receiving the SAE amp and Pioneer receiver (as a pre) from me a few weeks ago. I sent the Pioneer CD spinner to him previously, along with a copy of the new Tool CD.
Ouch! I immediately sent a reply, reminding him that the heaviest component must be on the bottom. Better yet son, get a rack! Kids. Baby steps!

Thank God for two factor authentication (and the authentication app) from Office 365 = no more password resets... EVER! 😌Alea jacta est! -
I know your pain Kex. At work we now have to use 16 digit passwords with at least a 2 upper case, 2 lower case, 2 special characters, 2 numerical digits. Its ridiculous. Oh and no words from the dictionary.
-
Yes, but if they embrace Microsoft Azure, and Office 365 with two factor authentication, all of that goes away!
- I no longer have to change my password every 90 days.
- I can use pass phrases like “Club Polk Rulz”
- I can authenticate, with the Microsoft Authenticator App, by just clicking “Accept” on my iPhone or Apple Watch, and login continues normally.
P.S. I used to have to spend about an hour in chat sessions on Skype for Business with Tech Support in Europe or India (working outside of East Coast hours) to resolve password update failures because of VPN server synchronization issues.
I used to hate Microsoft with a vengeance... but now I tolerate them just a little bit!Alea jacta est! -
That **** used to drive me crazy at my last job. They had about 14 apps that all changed their password every 30 days, some every 3 days. Same rules as above and half the time, you would have to log into Apple and reset that password with the same rules (could not use previous) just to change the password on the other apps. Sometimes on every device!!! ARGH!
One of the main reasons I left that job. just got tired of the BS. Right before I left, they had one app (Not Microsoft) that handled most of them but it still drove me F'n bonkers. At work, I just want to get **** done so I can live life. Not battle the stupid azz password game. If I wanted to waste my time, I'd watch the grass grow.
That **** was annoying (to me) as people who drive 10 under in the fast lane. (Rant off)
