Late afternoon rainbow in Santa Fe, New Mexico at my parents house after some thunderstorms and rain.

I got some nice lighting off the traditional 'coyote fence' in the backyard.

You're good! How many hours of welding to make that camaro? Is there a motor or did you just bend the metal for the exterior. Did you use "Barry's Rings" in the door panels?

It looks to small for full scale..... 3/4?

    heh, me too -- now.

The technology improvement of jet passenger aircraft is pretty astonishing (the fact that nearly six decades have passed notwithstanding!). The Boeing 707 fuselage design (nose and cross-section area) was "ported over" to the original B-737 (which I remember well -- so you can tell how old I am). High bypass fan engines, winglets, better wing design (not to mention avionics) have transformed the jet commercial transports. They're also phenomenally safe per passenger-mile.

    100th-737-12-6-1968.jpg

OK, that's a 737-200, but it illustrates the early 737 well :) Look at the engine nacelles!

I just learned :) that the initial customer for the 737 wasn't United (which is what I always thought) but was rather Lufthansa. Here's a beautiful photo of an early B737-100 in Lufthansa livery from Wiki-p.
